The Creepiest, Most Fascinating, and Hilarious Deep Sea Creatures
We really have not documented but a small portion of ocean life. It wasn't until recently we realized there was even life adapted to volcanic vents in the hottest water. And, as for the deepest depths - we only get a window of opportunity with the best research vessels and lighting that can only illuminate the tiniest bit of the massive ocean floor that takes up almost 3/4 of our planet's surface.

The Bigfoot Radio Show To Listen To Tomorrow Morning!
Tomorrow morning (10 am EST/9 am Central/7 am Pacific - now rescheduled for 10 pm EST Friday night) on "The Long Version" with Fletcher Long (LINK), he will be interviewing two Bigfoot researchers I highly admire. This is going to be a most riveting show.
Many of you have read posts by Karl Sup the Bigfoot researcher here on my blog and possibly listened to him on Fletcher's show. He has done posts on Bigfoot eyes, locomotion, witness reports, Long Island Bigfoot, and ChiSquatch - Chicago Sasquatch. You can find the links on the right hand side here on the blog in the popular posts list.
The other guest, Buddy, is one who has kept himself under the radar to be able to research in many areas, mostly in Texas, where he has accrued about 20 or so years of field research knowledge in some extremely extraordinary locations. The knowledge he contains comes from some of the most impressive research into habituation I have seen.
I am eager to hear this show!
Real Life Frankenstein's Monster Attempts
As a child, I remember the concept of Frankenstein's monster as being beyond any horror imaginable. The concept of piecing together a person from the parts of the dead was terrifying. But, science being what it is today, piecing together a person from parts becomes increasingly possible.

Secret Rooms and Stashes Found in Homes!
The 1980 movie, "The Changeling" had one of the most chilling and intriguing hidden rooms found in a house. Many people in older homes wonder about hidden tunnels and rooms. We had a hidden room in my childhood home, quite possibly an underground railroad safe room hidden behind the fireplaces in a triangular space complete with a stool, cloth, and newspaper still inside. But, how many homeowners really find hidden rooms? Well, more than you'd imagine!

Spring Fever: Beach-Themed Horrors
It's that magical time of the year where some sunshine and promising thaw are making folks go into full-blown spring fever. With spring fever comes the daydreams of beaches and relaxation. But, for those of us who love horror, we're wondering - what beach-themed horrors can I find?
Review "The Dark Tapes" Horror Movie
I am always pleased as an author of horror, supporter of independent arts, and a writer for this blog, that I get to occasionally preview a show or a movie ahead of release date. I was very honored this time to review an film festival award-winning Scifi/Horror genre movie, "The Dark Tapes" directed by Michael McQuown.

The Hunt: Ghosts and The Hunt: Bigfoot
I am pleased to announce I have received a contract for my paranormal romance book, "The Hunt: Ghosts" and they liked it so much, they want me to sign a contract for the sequel book, "The Hunt: Bigfoot." (The names are subject to possible change)
Mystic Publishers, Inc.
I have had a fantastic time writing about romance within the chilling context of researchers. I got to apply my knowledge and experience in the field of ghosts and Bigfoot and use it in a unique way to produce the most riveting application of both paranormal and romance in one work.
When the book(s) are released, I will be sharing that on here, of course. And, I hope to be doing an in-person book signing next spring at the ParaSci Con in Phoenix.

Strange Escapes: Go On the Scariest Vacation Tours
Lots of towns have ghost tours and ghost conventions and other spooky odd get togethers, but sometimes an innovative group puts together a panel of "experts" and a promising location to give the para geek a weekend (or even a week's) getaway dream. I came across one such group with some interesting upcoming events -
Are Aliens Terrestrial?
When we speak of aliens, we usually refer to them as "from outer space," but the logistics of a biological form traversing the universe (even at the speed of light) for years is preposterous. And, although we appreciate the concept of wormholes, we have no evidence such bending of time/space is out there as a secret shortcut. What we are left with is that aliens are from a parallel world or they once dominated our earth long ago.

Scooby Doo Files: Real-Life Paranormal Investigations
Television was good and bad for ghost investigators. It was good because, those of us who investigated before the shows were on TV, felt we couldn't even mention our work because people would laugh. After the shows hit the cable channels, it seemed that ghost investigating was becoming "hip" and teams were popping up overnight everywhere. In fact, that was the down side of the popularization of para investigation. We got a lot of investigators flooding the field expecting everything to be a sign of ghosts.

Could Batboy Exist?
Batboy was that wonderful tabloid creation that gained lots of fans and had us enchanted with the possibilities of what could happen if a hybridized man-beast could exist. Batboy may have been a short-lived popular subject, but what if Batboy were possible?

How To Make a Homunculus: Don't Be Afraid of the Dark Creature!
Those of us who thoroughly enjoyed the cult-favorite made-for-tv horror movie from 1973, "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark," recall the creatures. Those tiny little nighttime beings horrified many a youth back in the day. But, they were actually based on a concept of a small being created by alchemy called, "homunculi." (singular "homunculus")

1972 "Gargoyles" Mania!
Some movies don't hit it big on TV debut in the 1970s, but decades later they have a cult following of devoted fans. One of my favorite of this genre is "Gargoyles," a wonder of costuming/makeup, campiness, and creepy atmosphere. If you loved this movie, like I do, I have some suggestions for learning more and having your own Gargoyles feeling experiences....

Drowned Towns
Ever since I saw the movie "In Dreams" (awesome scary movie with Annette Bening and Robert Downey Jr) with a scene of divers diving in a lake where a town was underneath, swimming among a church and cemetery, I have been fascinated with the idea of abandoned sunken ghost towns. Let's take a look at some -

Mermaids Washed Ashore!
Mermaids are perhaps the most all-around beloved focuses of legends and lore. Women adore the romance and beauty, men adore their glorious unadorned appearance, and everyone loves the idea of a human-like being who can breathe under water and have the ocean for a playground. But, that very obsession makes us wonder, what if one washed ashore and we had proof of their existence? Here are some "mermaids washed ashore" for your evaluation and skeptical debate - (*Warning: Some of these will make you chuckle, others will fascinate!)

Bigfoot Rez: The Government's Secret Agenda?

Quarry Killings, Bigfoot and Ghosts!
Quarries are a standard land feature anywhere that stone is gathered and toted off for projects. They are often known as great swimming holes that are clean and clear, formed as a pool in the middle of large chunks of mined stone. Other than an occasional summer heat reliever, quarries are also sites to dispose of bodies or take people to in order to perform murder or sacrifice. As well, Bigfoot are often sighted in quarries, as well as them having reputations for hauntings. Might geology be an attractant for high strangeness?

Denisovans Skulls Found? Does This Lead to Today's Bigfoot?
Two ancient skulls were uncovered in China is thought to possibly be that of Denisovans, a man that existed in the time of Neanderthal and only recently discovered in a finger bone and molar in Siberia. Their DNA has shown up in people of the world from Himalayas to aborigines and Melanesians, and Inuit, among others. The skulls were dated to 105,000 to 125,000 years ago! Homo sapiens were still playing around in Africa and not even yet contemplating leaving to discover more world for another 40,000 years.

The ONLY Bigfoot Event to Attend this May!
Another reason why living in the East Coast is so fun is that there are more fun para events. Transplant Patients Taking On Characteristics Of Donors
Organ transplant has saved many lives and continues to be the best option for organs that are in end stages. There are, however, reports from some recipients that their personalities, tastes, even allergies changed after having a transplant.
