Aura Photography

Kirlian photograph, aka "aura" photography is a fascinating subject. There was an experiment utilizing this way of photographing in which a leaf was cut and yet it continued to show coronal discharge from where the cut section used to be.

Superstitions of the 13th Floor

That number 13 thing is a strong superstition. In fact, buildings built in the heyday of fear, didn't post a 13th floor!

Hollow Earth Legends Around the World

Hollow Earth concepts are one of my obsessions in research. I am intrigued by many things like spontaneous human combustion, creatures living in caves, shadow people, and the like, but Hollow Earth has been a fascination since I first saw the movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth."

It is the same for researcher Dennis Guern, and the reason we have decided to begin a deep research into the concept and any possible evidence of such a place.

Can a layer of civilization live beneath the surface of the earth? Let's look to some legends told by the people of earth for millennia.

Five of the Worst Horror Movie Remakes and Five Horror Movies They SHOULD Remake

Thankfully, with more and more indie moviemakers out there, Hollywood's regurgitated remakes will be a faint memory.

Reptoids Under LA?

From 1934, G. Warren Shufelt reported to the Los Angeles Times that he had discovered a series of caverns under LA that houses Reptoid people in ancient times.  Reportedly, 5000 years ago a huge "tongue of fire" obliterated the Southwest and these people were forced to go underground. Reportedly, they had made tunnels in an upper and lower grid. The lower grid allowed sea water to rush through and force clean air into the upper level. There were rooms that were like "high rises" underground where they stored herbage for food.

Forest-Themed Horror Movies

Talk about hiding in the woods, movies with this theme are an atmospheric delight full of natural terrors of the unseen and being on someone else's territory that may have a home field advantage.

Light a pine-scented candle and turn down the lights.

Here's some of my favorites of the forest-themed horror movies (I will put a * for the ones I totally adore)

Fictional TV Characters Who Inspired Future Paranormal Investigators

Sometimes, all it takes as a kid is to see someone doing something that so intrigues you, you park it in the back of your mind until you're an adult. When you can make your own choices for hobbies and interests, you might file through that best-of reel and recall something that has always interested you. For those of us in paranormal research, our muses might have been some interesting minds in the TV and movie realm who made uncovering mysteries look, well, downright creepy cool!

When You Are Pursued in Your Nightmares

Nightmares of being pursued are extremely common. There are a lot of ways to analyze the dream state and symbols, but basically it's a way to act out themes to help you learn and make sense of things. They are sort of like subconscious hints.

1967: An Unprecedented Paranormal Year!

I am going to propose something rather revolutionary and highly unusual. For some, you will shake your heads, for others, a light will turn on in your mind. I encourage you to take this concept and run with it. Much of what I have done in the field of paranormal is about the human catalyst/receiver/perceiver. This embodies that research.

Unsolved Mysteries of the Grand Canyon

Shadow of a Man

This photo above was taken by someone using an internet live cam from the canyon, as he looked for UFOs, but what he found was a giant shadow of a person (at least it looks that) - bottom left quadrant of the photo. It could be some kind of soil erosion, but a few ponder if perhaps something was set up long ago to cast a shadow like that, such as the geoglyphs of Nazca or the Intaglios of Blythe, California. This is only one of many oddities at the Grand Canyon.
