The Beach House, Phoenix, AZ

It was a hot day and my best friend and I were down on Camelback Road in Phoenix and decided to stop in at a landmark cool restaurant to enjoy the atmosphere. What we didn't expect was that the food was just as enjoyable!

The Cabin Bar and Grill, Heber-Overgaard, Arizona

I took a trek with my best friend up on the Mogollon Rim in Arizona in a place called Heber-Overgaard. There, we pulled into The Cabin Bar and Grill.

We admittedly went there for one particular menu item -

Catalina Tiles

I enjoyed an amazing tour of the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix. I highly suggest it. While there, I saw amazing tiles everywhere. I came to find out on the tour that Wrigley had bought 99% of Santa Catalina Island in California when his life fell in love with it. To promote business on the island, he started Catalina Tile Company.

1950s SciFi Females - Changing Roles

On the tail end of atomic knowledge and talk of future space travel following World War II, the 1950s ushered in a scientific era. Science Fiction movies were the rage and they churned out the formula fast and furious, trying to keep up with Cold War themes, fear of radiation, as well as women's changing roles after their work place contributions in the 1940s war time.

"The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch"

Yay History Channel! The executives at my favorite channel were wise enough to see the potential when producer Kevin Burns ("Ancient Aliens" and "The Curse of Oak Island") suggested a nonfiction series based on the infamous Skinwalker Ranch.

This location in the Ucinta Mountains of Utah has long been an area of great speculation. My favorite nonfiction book of all time, "The Hunt for the Skinwalker" was the ongoing study of weird happenings at this ranch.

And, yes, (I know what you're thinking) they do plan to have cameras on the property!

Reverse Engineering An Alien Grey: Do They Come From Liquid Not Gas Environment?

An intellectual friend was debating with me recently about whether or not alien greys might be something evolved from a flying creature versus aquatic or land. He reasoned that birds have hollow bones and can breathe with unidirectional air flow and air sacs. He reasoned that might be the case with an alien grey.

This started me on a curious trek to reverse engineer these boogers.

Habituation Situation: The Bigfoot Making Formations Regularly!

Every Monday on Ghost Hunting Theories I continue to archive what I consider to be one of the most significant habituation situations documented by researchers. As the series continues along, field notes, photos, audio and video will be revealed on a massive scale.

As the researchers worked to understand the entities they were dealing with, aro
und every corner they found more and more startling evidence and interactions that changed their viewpoint on everything they thought they knew about mankind.

Growing Gourds: Making Gourd Art

Gourds are super easy to grow. They don't need extra pampering like other garden veggies and herbs. They grow super super fast - clinging to anything you let them climb up. And, their dried shells make amazing art.

Linda Godfrey's "I Know What I Saw" Cryptid Book

Certain researchers earn my respect through their deeds, ethics and diligence. Linda Godfrey is one of my favorites. And she happens to be a gosh-darned kind human being to boot!

If you want to know about cryptids, this dogman expert is at the top of the list. She is just releasing a new book, as well. Time to really celebrate!

We think of glow sticks as a fun item for Halloween, but buy a bag of them online at places like Amazon. Use them this summer. If fireflies can glow, so can your summer fun!

Missing 411 "The Hunted" Premiere

Today is the premiere of the second in the Missing 411 series.

Missing 411- The Hunted deals with the unexplained disappearance of hunters from the wilds of North America. Hunters have been disappearing for hundreds of years, many without leaving a trace. How can a hunter disappear without leaving tracks and a scent trail for Bloodhounds to follow? Is there something happening to these people that conventional explanations are at a loss to explain?

The premiere and after party are in Denver tonight. I know if you're like most of my readers, this is an exciting installment to David Paulides incredible work documenting the missing and dead in our parks, many with highly strange clues and coverups.

Islands of Giants Discovered?

The ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) in the Caribbean were once referred to as the islands of giants.  When the Spanish arrived in 1500, they encountered the Caquetio people who were assumed to have migrated there by some kind of boat from Venezuela long ago and lived a very primitive life. They were also reported to be very tall with elongated heads.

What Your Favorite Horror Movies Says About You

Horror movies really come down to three categories. We could push it and say suspense/thriller and SciFi can also be horror, but let’s just talk straight-out horror genre—found on the aisle at the video store. Take a look at your collection and see which type you seem to have the most of:

Spring Horror Garden???

When I was growing up in Fairfax, Virginia, our estate had a designated growing garden where the old horse stables were (great location). My father and I competed for growing the best veggies. We also had black walnuts, persimmons, apples, grapes, peaches, sour cherry, raspberries, gooseberries, blackberries, pears, and other yummies growing up on the property. Mother kept a tea garden for "healing" teas next to the library window.

And, at our summer home along the Chesapeake, we would plant our garden in the springtime, leave and come back in summer to see it had grown beautifully without attendance. Pecans grew there as well, and off the dock and in the bay we would gather blue crab, fish, oysters and clams.

Cloaked Jinn and Angry Bigfoot in Florida - Chilling Accounts!

Upon occasion, when I begin an interview with a witness, I am impressed that they are both uneducated about the cryptids in the world and also a meticulously accurate witness with great detail.

It helps to know that this is someone who is trying to make sense of the nonsensical encounter and also able to give enough description that it's apparent what they saw, they truly noted without influence.

One brave man in Florida (I will call him "Johnny") was willing to share encounters that have happened that to this day still provide nightmares and fear of the dark forests.

It is his hope that others have seen these things and perhaps can feel less scared to know that they are not the only ones....

Creepy-Named Towns

Sometimes, funny-named towns create a chuckle and look fun on a mailing station stamp, but upon occasion a town has a name that is spooky. They make you wonder, why did they name it this? Here's just some in the US.
