31 Days of Halloween Schedule - SyFy Channel!

It's that time of year again! It's sad to note just how awful the movie lineup is! OMG! It used to be filled to the brim with the Halloween Series, Friday the 13th, Freddy Krueger....  Now, it looks more like a Nickelodeons lineup. I hate to say it, but I won't be tuning into Syfy AT ALL this October. Here's this year's lineup -

Habituation Situation: Precog Abilities? Language Mastery?

Every Monday on Ghost Hunting Theories I continue to archive what I consider to be one of the most significant habituation situations documented by researchers. As the series continues along, field notes, photos, audio and video will be revealed on a massive scale.

As the researchers worked to understand the entities they were dealing with, around every corner they found more and more startling evidence and interactions that changed their viewpoint on everything they thought they knew about mankind.

Creating An Epic Halloween Home

It's always a pleasure to see people decorate for Halloween. They get more inventive every year. But, upon occasion, a home is so over the top that it is "epic" and that is what this post is about. These are homes done up by people who don't just worship Halloween, but are willing to prove their love. This demonstrative behavior is greatly appreciated by the horror-loving public.

Habituation Situation: Bigfoot Drawings! Communication!

Every Monday on Ghost Hunting Theories I continue to archive what I consider to be one of the most significant habituation situations documented by researchers. As the series continues along, field notes, photos, audio and video will be revealed on a massive scale.

***Warning: As the team has had a back and forth for many months with the clan that goes in and out of this property, the forms of communication have been escalating. Having realized they were very good at creating new formations, the team wondered at their ability to communicate. This episode shows how it has progressed to a point no one ever imagined would occur ***

CHEAP Halloween Decorations Made From Things Around the House

This is my season! I know I'm not alone because readers of my  Halloween book Adult Halloween: Taking Back the Season! tell me that they get more excited about Halloween than Christmas!

Most of these things you probably have around the house and from Halloweens past. Other items are cheap or free to obtain. Take advantage of the dollar store and thrift stores - no need to get fancy.

Lovelock Cave Series: Most Ancient Glyphs in America - Giants' Doing?

Trying to put a time line on when the red-haired giants arrived in the Humboldt/Winnemucca area in Nevada isn't too hard to pinpoint. We have a few points of reference and one of them being the oldest glyphs in the Americas in the Lake Winnemucca area, rather obvious designed by a culture that was based on water.

(Special thank you to Dennis Guern for his research and input on this series)

Apples and Autumn - Amazing Tasty and Spooky Uses!

Autumn and apples - a match that is divine! A crisp, organic, locally-grown apple has a flavor that no store bought apple from some other state can compare to. Midwest Bigfoot: Puppet Master

This is the start of a new series on GHT involving some amazing evidence captured by an experienced professional in the Midwest. It occurred over a decade and what he found from his experimentation was quite stunning. Today, I will over a puppet made by a Bigfoot -

Gourd Crafts

You can grow gourds - they are splendid plants that vine up and take over areas, creating a wonderful shield from sunlight for your porch or garden. You can also find gourds in the stores in the autumn that helps to give you another already dried and prepared vessel.  There are some gorgeous things you can make with them.

How To Make a Haunted Mirror

(Eleanor, Edward and Emily)

I wanted to create a mirror that had an image that looked ghostly looking back, but honestly every adult image I found was rather boring, even old Victorian Era pictures, so I came across a photo of three Victorian kids that unsettled me.  That made me think about the black-eyed children phenomena, and I realized - wow, this would really unsettle!

Using Your Intuition on Ghost Investigations

We often get "feelings" but don't know where they come. In the field of psychology, feelings are the result of thoughts. So, if we think it's totally unfair that our boss expects the report by tomorrow, then we feel anger. If we think someone broke into our home because we hear a noise at night, we get scared.

Injecting Some Autumn Into Your Late Summer

Summers are brutal in Arizona and fall isn't much better, but my mind escapes this miserable hell on earth and I dream of places where pumpkins are ready for harvesting, noses are chilly, sweaters are buttoned firmly, wood smoke floats in the air, and leaves make crackling sounds as they blow in the wind.

Let me take you with me on that fantasy getaway....

Dolls As Halloween Props

Doll Island is just too fun to recreate in a yard. Leave the dolls out in the weather to age or urgently age them by dipping in water with black or very dark green paint mixed in with a 6 parts water to 1 part paint ratio. But there are TONS of ways to use dolls for Halloween that are chilling and awesome.

Melissa George: Cryptid Author Worth Reading!

Upon occasion I am privileged to get to know and really respect other researchers in the field and other authors doing incredible things.

Great YouTube Channels To Bring on Halloween Mood

Here's my top choices for immersing myself in Halloween fun on YouTube.

Hollywood Haunter is an utter blast. This darling young couple are charming and super talented. They also love Halloween big-time. They show how they invent props, sets, and special effects and they are not only do-able, but really good-spooky fun!

Pumpkinrot is hands down the finest Halloween artist and crafter of all time. His videos are hauntingly classic Halloween, dripping with vivid imagery. He's not a chop and dice kinda horror guy. Oh, no Pumpkinrot understands the season with spooky farms, terrifyingly unique scarecrows, dark cornfields, and pagan-esque fun. I have a playlist of just his videos so I can immerse myself in Halloween and I go to his store at his website to get my Halloween cards.

Classic Halloween is great for those who miss the 50s, 60s, 70s Halloween of our youth when Halloween was done with the proper amount of enthusiasm and spookiness.
