Researchers looking for sunken treasure in the Baltic Sea found on their sonar something most unusual between Finland and Sweden--a disk-shaped object. Now, a project is underway to find out what the heck it is! It's 60-feet wide and 90 meters down.
The Ocean X Team is checking it out and giving updates. On 6/7, divers went down to explore and found something they think is quite remarkable. Photos and info will be released this week, supposedly.
I'm intrigued. Sure, an old volcano bed could make a nice round shape like that, but it certainly doesn't look like others on radar shots. What it is remains a mystery for now, but hopefully some answers will be forthcoming. I am staying on top of this one--it's very exciting!
