More Crazy Vids From the Trip

This shot pretty much sums up a road trip with Sharon. I saw a giant chicken, had to stop to get a shot of Julie and I with it. Her camera wasn't ready but my timer was going off. I rushed back to stop my camera and got the typical "oh fuck!" shot -- I usually get a few of these each trip including taking a picture of my foot or the inside of my purse. Now, on to some wicked vids. Between the posts I've done about the trip with stories, pictures and vids, y'all seriously went on the trip with us.

I'll take you through the Vulture Mine village--parts of it--it's really huge...

Here's a sexier sounding version of some of the cool finds at Vulture Mine...

Ever wonder about an AZ feedstore/antique shop? Here you go...

You know, Julie and I love to tease y'all by eating a small-town local authentic Mexican restaurants. Just another chimichanga comparison. We have to try one on each road trip.

Yeah, he went with us!

    That was my usual mistake with a timer.It did make it funny. It would have been better if I were reaching for the chicken.

    Les;
    Why, of course!

    It was ridiculously fun, but I'm so simple-minded, I have a blast everywhere I go. I just want to be silly and curious.

  6. The creepiest thing Dale did was to change his expression from happy to scared when you put him on the floor by the closet door in Abby's room (Prescott, Hotel Vendome). The little dickens was scared to be left alone in the "haunted" room. That and him staring at me in the car, creeped me out!

  7. He was definitely not himself, but he has a bit of a crush on you, Miss Julie, and I do think he was confused by his human-like feelings, or as Dale says "Uman"

  9. Sandra;
    Well, our book just came out on Amazon (soon to come on Nook) where we went to abandoned places and I did psychic reads on something from its past. You can find the button on the right-hand side. Everywhere there are tons of abandoned places. I hear from people in all the states saying that especially the more rural areas are very vacant. Now, where you are, there should be a ton of them, but they're more likely to be in dying little towns in the mountains. Generally, we go to more agricultural or mining areas and then go to the towns in its periphery and there are plenty of abandoned shops and homes the further on the edges of the towns you go. Sometimes, you can go online and look up "abandoned Tennessee" or wherever and urban exploring clubs have marked where they are or others have photographed them and talked about their locations. AZ is super abandoned because of mining industry that pulls up and leaves after building a town for a profitable industry.

  10. I'm just glad that he was in the exact same position in the morning that we left him in before going to bed.

  11. Yeah, but he's a pro at sneaking away and going back to position. One time, I caught his shirt hiked up from when he climbed back into his spot. He thought he was so smart.

  13. It was actually huge, Vapor. It was across the parking lot so with my hand near the camera, it looked rather tiny. I think it was about 7' or so tall when we finally stood next to it.

  14. I'm glad that I not the only one who thought of several jokes while looking at the hand and *ahem* chicken.

  15. LOL Fun, fun, fun! The chicken reminds me of a place down here called South of the Border. It's a hokey place with lots of mexican crap and giant chickens and other animals. LOL
