Next Month on Ghost Hunting Theories!

July on Ghost Hunting Theories is going to be a great month! I am going to be posting the "best of" GHT for the past seven years! I hope to hit a wide variety of subjects, in fact, LOADS of them! It will be a walk through everything unexplained with a bright new look and attitude.

Enjoy!

The Urban Sasquatch Journal: Training For Cameras

This is the reporting by a Bigfoot researcher of an ongoing study in the Southern part of the United States in a very large park area near homes and urban setting.

Visit #8

Temp: 84 degrees, humid, rain clouds w/ sprinkles

I arrived at the trail bridge approximately 2:30 p.m. I walked to the old fire pit and took a rock to place at site 1B. Each future visit to the site, I will stop and take a rock from the old fire pit and place it at site 1B. My routine stays the same. before entering site 1B, I walk the east side grassy area to the creek and whistle my tune and say my name vocally as being here in the area.

All the food items left from previous visit in the food buckets have been taken. (photos below) Many wrappers are on the ground. The bone I left hanging by the gifting bag is now on the ground in front of the yellow tire with kettle bell and tennis ball on the inside rim.

The dummy camera may have been moved slightly to look away from tree bucket #2. I readjusted the camera to look directly at tree bucket #2 and the green Frisbee gifting holder.

The 2 piles of corn-on-the-cobs are not in piles now. They have been spread out. I would have thought that some animal would have eaten the corn-on-the-cobs. Nothing was eaten. These are the only changes noticed.

The changes I made this trip include:

I am taking four of the tires and making a new ground set-up and adding some gift items on the tires: nail tent peg, belt buckle, kettle bell, yellow handled hammer.

I am moving the t-shirt and cap back to the limb with circled cord.

I am adding a large pile of deer corn near the spread out corn-on-the-cobs.

I am putting some sweet treats into both buckets.

I am moving the bone found on the ground to food bucket #1 hanging with the other 3 bones.

I am adding a small dream catcher to the handle of bucket #2.

I have readjusted the dummy camera to be aimed at tree bucket #2 and green Frisbee gifting holder.

I am moving the plastic garbage lid to another tree and not bending it.

I making one ground direction arrow pointer towards the tires set-up. I am putting a fire pit rock at the point of the arrow.

I have spelled my name with sticks (BUDE) on the ground and stood up a limb at both ends with a colored ball (blue and yellow) on both sticks.

I am placing a small flute in the hanging gifting bag.

I am removing the quarter and large marble from the green Frisbee holder and adding a pretty yellow small rock.

Around 3:50 p.m., I am hiking out of the area. I hope to add another dummy camera for tree bucket #1. With no flashes or motors making noises, maybe the creatures will get used to them. When the dummy cameras are finally replaced by real cameras, maybe the creatures will be lax and not pay attention to the real ones. At that point, maybe we can get to the bottom of the mystery of the food taker(s).

Photos

#1. Before getting to the trail bridge, off the paved trail, these sticks were on the ground. What's noticeable is there is a 4-foot-plus-wide mowed grassy section running on both sides of the trail for a long ways. This grouping looks like a stick formation to me. These were the only sticks on the ground on both sides of the trail for a long distance.

#2. Food wrapper near bucket #1

#3. Two food wrappers near bucket #1

#4.------more wrappers at bucket #1

#5. Blurred photo of up-right yellow tire with kettle bell and tennis ball. The hanging bone next to the gifting bag is now on the ground in front of the tire

#6. Blurred empty, dry cereal bag near food bucket #1

#7. Another wrapper near bucket #1

#8. Another wrapper near bucket #1

#9. More wrappers bucket #2

#10. Corn-on-the-cobs moved from piles to being spread out. None have been eaten.

#11. Three tires moved to a new set-up w/ kettle bell, tennis ball, nail tent peg, belt buckle

#12. Sweet treat items left for both buckets

#13. Bucket #2 wrapper and container on the ground

#14. Bone on the white cord at the top just added to food bucket #1

#15. Plastic garbage can lid I moved to a tree

#16. Huge pile of deer corn I put down near the corn-on-the-cobs.

#17. My t-shirt and cap I hung back up with the wrapped cord on limb

#18. Added another tire to the set-up with a gifted yellow-handled hammer

#19. Not sure what is in this photo besides this being the middle of my research site

#20. My ground arrow direction pointer towards the tires

#21. Dry cereal wrapper bucket #2

#22. Another wrapper bucket #2

#23. Small flute in gifting bag

#24. My name spelled out with limbs/sticks with 2 colored balls at both ends of the letter.

#25. Another photo of #24

#26. Small dream catcher added to metal handle bucket

#27. Neat, yellow rock left has a gift on the green Frisbee gifting holder

I look forward to the time that I put in real cameras and see what is happening at the sites, but in the mean time, I can be patient. Good research never happens overnight.

Are You A Superhero and Don't Know It?

If you were a superhero, what would your talent be? I think I might go for a healer. Be able to touch people or think about them and create a healthy balance and healing process.

Movies like "Unbreakable" make us wonder how we, as just regular Joe's and Jane's might handle finding out we have a life and death power.

Have you ever spent an evening testing your super powers?

Why not?

You might be a hero and didn't even know it!

Let's test your psychic capabilities and compare with others -

Let's test your mind skills - https://www.testmybrain.org/

Can you move an object with your mind?

Test your strength -

Let's have a look at some superheroes who weren't born with unusual skills from other planets and science experiments, but ones who were ordinary people who found extraordinary ways of developing skills and tools to make them superhuman -

Batman doesn't have any superhuman powers, but relies on high tech gear, martial arts, and high intelligence. His special gear for fighting crime is often stored in his utility belt. Items Batman can quickly retrieve from his utility belt include a grapple gun for climbing, night vision goggles, bat darts, and batarangs (similar to a boomerang but shaped like a bat).

Perhaps Batman's greatest powers come from his assortment of super vehicles. The Batmobile is a car loaded with gadgets to help catch bad guys. He also has a batcycle, batboat, and batplane.

Batman's costume also is made of special material acting like armor. His cape can spread out like wings which can be used to glide down safely from heights.

Green Arrow is a vigilante superhero who fights crime using archery, martial arts and technology. In his secret identity he is Oliver Queen, living in Star City as a wealthy playboy and billionaire industrialist turned outspoken socially-progressive politician. He is the leader of Team Arrow; he has also been a member of the Justice League and the Outsiders.

Tony's body had been enhanced by the modified techno-organic virus, Extremis, but it is currently inaccessible and inoperable.

Tony has a genius level intellect that allows him to invent a wide range of sophisticated devices, specializing in advanced weapons and armor. He possesses a keen business mind.

Dress like your superhero

Creating a Custom Hero

Consider your particular characteristics and talents, proclivities and obsessions to design your own custom hero. In my case, I might incorporate my Highlander/Viking background, my red hair, my love of urban exploration, and chasing the unknown. I might call myself Red the Ghost Town Warrior.

But I am also a psychic and have an autumn leaf tattoo, so I could go by my old online name, Autumnforest.

Okay, you don't have to be a superhero and wear a costume and run about like a frantic freak, but what about expressing your uniqueness, your skills, your passions and such? You like to adventure - wear a hat and if you like to see yourself as an owl lover and intelligent bookworm, wear some owl jewelry. Some of the best superheroes are subtle about the symbols so that they feel empowered just wearing them and knowing the secret skill....

It's a New Age: Faith, Hope, Belief and Creating Your Reality

Dreams versus reality.

When I was a kid, we had a wrecked 1940s car in the pasture near our barn. It was beat to hell, all the parts removed and strewn around the field by my brother who was a grease-monkey-wannabe.

I spent an entire summer when I was about 12, polishing parts, plotting and planning, trying to figure out how to reinsert them, and sitting behind the wheel, envisioning me getting it running and driving to California when I got my license. I could feel it and taste it with the am radio sitting on the dashboard playing Elton John and Gordon Lightfoot. I was going to drive to the promiseland and see amazing sights, be a real grownup, swim in the Pacific, learn to surf like I skateboarded. I ate lunches in it, napped in the back seat, went to the library to check out books on how to upholster and the manual for the car.

Of course, summer ended and the car was never up and running again. I was not driving to California when I turned 16, but for one entire summer, I was in the zone.

Was it a waste?

Consider this - for an entire summer, I was not focused on what the other kids were doing, what boys to chase, or eating myself silly and watching "I Love Lucy" reruns. I was learning important skills in what inspired me - freedom and the ocean, responsibility and a sense of efficacy at making a dream come true, building a car! I read books I would never normally read, learned skills I never knew, spent afternoons into twilight sitting behind a wheel and learning hope, having belief, finding out how to inspire me to hard work.

Eventually, I did drive to California, ironically in a 1969 Camaro that was renovated, played in the Pacific, was an adult and free. It didn't happen as I thought it would at 16, it was five years later. But, there is something to be said about making your dreams come true subconsciously only to crop up when conditions are right to make them happen.

Did I see my destiny or did I make it?

It's not New Age to tap the power of the mind to motivate, to change moods and even body chemistry, to alter the course of your decisions, to get out of your own way and get things done efficiently and satisfactorily, to make goals and to obtain them.

"Hope is a wish.
Belief is a promise.
Faith is an action."
Sharon Day, 2015

The power of the mind is shown every day in amazing accomplishments by the citizens of Earth. The only way anything is achieved is by being observant of a need, processing potential methods to fill that need, gathering a game plan, materials, assistance, and achieving. We create a concept, we sketch it out, we take it to action, we see it in use.

Sometimes, these concepts to realities form just as we imagined and other times they become something we didn't see coming, like a new friendship or association, a newly acquired skill, a sense of our capabilities, or even another experience in a life full of attempts at a variety of tasks.

Psychic testing (above)
I am Autumnforest

These odds were achieved, I believe, because I was in a groove of compassion, love, hope, belief, faith, and giving over to the universe to meet a fate I believe is a powerful one. In that mindset, I achieve amazing PSI testing scores. I have had some utterly head-shaking results in this groove and on days when I am insecure, don't believe, filled with scarcity and fear, I do horribly.

The very attitude we approach our day with affects our decisions to take on tasks or avoid them, to be kind to others, having it come back to us, or to be short tempered and alone.

That is the power of the creator within.

Let's take a look at how things as "fluffy" as belief, hope and faith, karma and other components have the ability to change worlds, not just between your ears, but in the universe.

Here's a few relevant terms (below) when studying how our interpretations, thoughts, and beliefs lead to behaviors and actions that change, not only us, but the world around us. If you want to talk in terms of paranormal, there is nothing more paranormal than what the human mind is capable of creating from with-in and projecting with-out. We make our own reality that we live in.

Gratitude: Sometimes, it takes seeing someone on Facebook announce the death of a loved one or loss of a job, limb, cancer, to make us realize that we may complain about our lives, but the overall worth is in what we recognize. If we don't recognize what we have to be thankful for, we see only what we don't have.

Our focus is on absence instead of presence.

One night when I was falling asleep, I decided that I should end my day on a positive note. I named off everyone that I helped that day, was there for, gave input to and advice, assisted with something, made smile, or whatever. The list was so damn long, I realized that every one of those names was a ripple on a pond. I was thankful. I was mostly thankful that I had people to love and people who needed me, but also to know that they were awaiting the time when they could return the favor. I was thankful for my tribe.

Every time you pray, begin it with your thanks for that day - everything you are thankful for, even if it's just having some time out in the sun or finishing a project, cleaning the dishes in the sink before bedtime or deciding to reach a new goal. It refocuses your life on what is good, what you want more of, so you aspire to continue to accrue that instead of focusing on self pity and anger at what you don't have.

Karma: The good or bad emanations felt to be generated by someone or something.

Compassion: A feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.

Aspiring:  The act of longing, aiming, or seeking ambitiously; be eagerly desirous, especially for something great or of high value.

Believing: Having confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so.

Reframing:  Shifting of one's perspective.

Curious minds do not work in a vacuum, there must be hope, faith, belief, in order to want to continue a search for answers. Sometimes, belief gets in the way of answers because belief is owned by the ego and disproving something one believes in could be detrimental to the very self concept. How many times do we believe in someone and they fail us? We fear believing again. What if you believe ghosts are souls of the dead and someone shoves evidence in your face that is not true? The threat to your very desire to have an afterlife could be very disorienting and dangerous.

Ground Zero UFO Campout July 18th!

July 18th there will be a UFO watch/campout at Mt. Adams this summer. Now if any event sounds like a must-go one, this is a win/win - camping and UFO watching!

Ground Zero seriously knows how to run a para geek's dream event! Check into it HERE.

I've been wanting for years to do one in the desert here in Arizona. Perhaps we can entice Ground Zero to do a watch here at Painted Rock outside Gila Bend. Ideal location with camping/RV facilities, no lights, and tons of sightings.
