Going on 12 years blogging on Ghost Hunting Theories and this August I am doing something I haven't done in 12 years - doing one post a week instead of one post a day! Every Saturday - a new post! Remember, I also run Groovy New Life blog for baby boomers doing one new post every day also! Given that I am about to embark on intense autumn/Halloween posts for all of September and October, I figured I'd give myself some time to lift my head and focus on another arena of my life that needs attention - career. And it feels amazing to give myself a real month's vacation so I can take some time to redesign my resume and prepare for a new career as the oil and gas industry is on the rocks. As investigators, we are often handed photos of orbs with faces, or a forest with "faces" in it. Most researchers balk at these faces seen in nature, but it might be time (for several reasons) to look at it in a new light.
Nearly every tribe in America tells of some giant race of white people with blue eyes who were settled in with cities and technology such as mining and canal work residing here when the Amerindians first came to the lands. They also speak of trying to co-exist, but finding it a difficult task.
Legends tell of giants and also trolls, Cyclops, Goliath, and more. They also tell of the "wee folk," "little people," "elves," "dwarfs," "Tommyknockers" and more.
Caves are more than the sites of mines and ancient hieroglyphs, the burial places of giants, and homes for bats. They can also be haunted. And, why not? In desperate times, caves were utilized for sanctuary and sometimes standoffs and, given the geology, they seem like ideal vessels in a feng shui sort of way, to retain and hold a kind of amplified haunting that is held captive in a cul-du-sac formation. I am utterly fascinated with the haunted cave phenomena. I cannot think of a better spirit vessel. Let's have a look at some more infamous haunted caves....
There is an enormous and remote wilderness area Nahanni National Park in the Northwest Territory of Canada that would make for some amazing hiking and exploring, only it carries a rather dark reputation - as a place where headless bodies show up!

It's crazy how in the winter, we daydream about beaches and swimming pools and in the heat of summer, we daydream about the dark, cool, mysterious and colorful time called Autumn. Thermometers are registering 90 and 100 in most places, but our minds are on chilly noses, sweaters, bonfires, spiced cider, and the coming holiday of spookiness - Halloween. Let's go!

Probably my all-time favorite is "The Twilight Zone." Every episode was a masterpiece. And it was hard picking out my favorite because I love the one where the woman undergoes plastic surgery to look like a pig so she fits in and the one with the guy who wanted to be alone with his books and was the last man on earth, but broke his glasses. I also loved the one where the guy kept stopping on the train at some idyllic small town he wanted to escape to. Rod Serling didn't live a long life, but he made his indelible mark!
I was probably more obsessed with "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" series. I wanted to be Kolchak, writing for a paper and running into mysteries.
The most terrified I was for any tv episode in my lifetime was "The Outer Limits" episode "Behold Eck!" I was very small when I saw it and I recall hiding behind the chair, screaming, and not sleeping for nights. It even stuck with me for years, where just thinking of that electrical monster made me scared!
The series that I recall waiting anxiously for every episode was "X-Files."

It's hard to believe that a TV series meant to be unsettling and scary could actually make an episode that after airing was considered too scary and not shown again. Leave it to "X-Files" to come up with just that episode!
Some countries reveal clusters of unexplained archaeological finds and phenomena. Bosnia Herzegovina is an interesting one that might go under our radar, except they keep finding amazing things there!
Studying ancient missing cultures that leave a lot of ???'s in the archaeologist's books, I have come across a pattern from Peru up to modern-day USA. And I can't help wanting to share just some of that mystery -
Abandoned buildings are spooky as it is, but abandoned restaurants and schools carry a very odd vibe. They were once very noisy, offered sensory overload, and had moments of celebration and noise; now down to empty abandoned shells. The result can sometimes be quite chilling....
I was excited to hear about Dino Hunters show on Discovery Channel. As Clayton Phipps and Mike Harris, dino relic hunters, are up in the area of this cave where "Chickosaurus" is, I would love to have them tackle it if they don't mind about a 4-hour crawl. Post about Chickosaurus - LINK
