The Fallen Angels' Prison

LINK: “(13) And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, (14) Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. (15) And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. (16) And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.” (Revelation 9:13-16)

There is a legend that four fallen angels (four horsemen of the apocalypse) are imprisoned in the Euphrates, some say under Haditha Dam and that guards have gone mad watching them.

There are others who believe they are under Antarctica and hence all the attention the continent received by the Nazis and today by many countries coming to visit and unusual guests and dignitaries.

This cradle of civilization includes Iran and Syria, two locations in the heart of much strife continually.

Sometimes military accounts are the best info -

LINK:  Marine from the 2003-2004 invasion here. I love reading these stories because in some form or another shit like this happened to us. The spookiest story came in 2004 in the Haditha Dam. Our convoys would stop at the base of the dam and then we had to hike up 13 flights of stairs to reach our berthing areas. I had to carry a MK19 Mod 3 up these stairs each day after we dropped supplies at our ASP bases. It was completely pitch black and you could hear a woman crying very loudly. I can't remember how many times I ran up these stairs with night vision goggles on terrified that this woman ghost is going to eat me. I brought many people with me to confirm and everyone knew the ghost of the haditha dam before I took them there. That sound still terrifies me to this day.

Who are the supposed four fallen angels?

The Book of Enoch mentions three fallen angels - Enoch mentions only three fallen angels called Azazel, Azza and Uzza. Similar to The first Book of Enoch, they taught sorcery on earth, causing corruption.

The Book of Enoch was stricken from the Bible, supposedly because it spoke of prophecies pertaining to Christ and the Jews did not consider that valid.

And it is reported Dudael is the prison of the fallen angels and described sometimes vaguely as having an entrance east of Jerusalem.

According to notes in Wikipedia - Dudael is the place of imprisonment for Azazel, cohort of Samyaza. It is described in the Book of Enoch chapter 10 verses 4–7: And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein.

With many tunnels under Jerusalem that are ancient, all kinds of things come to mind. To learn more - check out this article.

So, what can we assume about the fallen angels and their imprisoned location? Perhaps we are taking the location too literally as being on our plane of existence. God's "cauldron" would likely be on a level we could not reach or interact with as mortals.

Anyone passing on a cautionary legend would be asked by eager listeners, "where are they???" and the answer would have to be something locals relate to, such as under the Euphrates. It would seem "under the Mississippi" or "under the Amazon" would not be points of reference for legends born from one region, although that would seem quite prophetic, as the locals in the Middle East would likely be asking - "where is this strangely-named place?"

The soldiers who have had contact with the Haditha Dam do often report odd feelings, strange sounds, and lots of chatter among them about the Fallen Angels. Some have said the odd earth sounds we are hearing are the horns and the time is coming for them to be released.
