Today, Dennis Guern and I give supporting evidence for the explanation of a portal on the ranch.

A portal in the sense we are using the word would be a pathway/shortcut from this world to a parallel world.

NASA even admits some portals in the earth's magnetic fields.

"We call them X-points or electron diffusion regions," explains plasma physicist Jack Scudder of the University of Iowa. "They're places where the magnetic field of Earth connects to the magnetic field of the Sun, creating an uninterrupted path leading from our own planet to the sun's atmosphere 93 million miles away...Portals form via the process of magnetic reconnection. Mingling lines of magnetic force from the sun and Earth criss-cross and join to create the openings. X-points are where the criss-cross takes place. The sudden joining of magnetic fields can propel jets of charged particles from the X-point, creating an "electron diffusion region."

This is quite interesting as the Skinwalker Ranch reports gamma rays a mile above the ranch.

Gamma rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation. This radioactive decay is a result of the sun's powerful heat and energy.

Might this location be an X-point?

Could there be something about this specific location that allows solar winds to come closer to the earth than other locations? Perhaps, say, one mile above the ground?

When the team at the ranch contemplates something from out in space beaming gamma rays to the earth, could they be unintentionally meaning a weakness in our magnetosphere in that location and not necessarily alien beings producing it?

MMS:  "The solar wind can enter the magnetosphere at different locations and under different magnetic field conditions that we hadn't known about before," Melvyn Goldstein, an astrophysicist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, said in a statement.

What happens when we get northern lights (aurora borealis)? This is a disturbance in the magnetosphere caused by solar wind. The ranch has occurrences of strange lights.

When people at the ranch report certain bodily effects, one has to consider what gamma rays might do to the human form - Exposure to high doses of radiation over a short period of time can cause radiation sickness (sometimes called radiation poisoning or acute radiation syndrome) and even death. Some of the symptoms of radiation sickness include fainting, confusion, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, hair loss, skin and mouth sores, and bleeding.

Well, we know nausea has been an issue, and seasickness-like uneasiness, but what about the brave supervisor at the ranch? His scalp pulled away from his skull. It could be that the reason he in particular was vulnerable to this radiation effect has to do with the baseline distance he has been scalp and skull.

NoteChanges in distance between brain and scalp are also important for other human brain mapping techniques. In transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), electromagnetic radiation travels through the skull from a coil held outside the head in order to excite cortical neurons. This technique has received FDA approval for treatment of depression and may be important for pediatric populations. However, the electrical field induced by TMS falls off as the square of the distance from the coil. Therefore, in order to judge the optimal TMS current, it is important to have information about the brain-scalp distance: if the distance is small, low current will be sufficient to induce activity, while at greater distances, the same TMS current may not evoke any activity.

If the ranch supervisor has a smaller brain-scalp space, he would be susceptible to the effects of the electrical fields. In fact, Travis reported a headache up on the ridge, so perhaps even if he had an average brain-scalp ratio he was able to register it with discomfort there.

Let's talk about the Van Allen Belt - an important earth feature.  A Van Allen radiation belt is a zone of energetic charged particles, most of which originate from the solar wind, that are captured by and held around a planet by that planet's magnetic field. Earth has two such belts and sometimes others may be temporarily created.

Is there anything special about Utah?

Below is a map of the magnetic leylines - Utah is listed as HOT. (That central blue point lines spring out from)

It would appear from this map that the Uinta Range area is a major hub of the magnetic ley lines.

If you want to go a step further, you might note how strong the paths converge over the Bermuda Triangle, another suspected portal that is known for instruments not working and strange lights -

Shifting portals: During the time it takes you to read this article, something will happen high overhead that until recently many scientists didn't believe in. A magnetic portal will open, linking Earth to the sun 93 million miles away. Tons of high-energy particles may flow through the opening before it closes again, around the time you reach the end of the page..."We used to think the connection was permanent and that solar wind could trickle into the near-Earth environment anytime the wind was active," says Sibeck. "We were wrong. The connections are not steady at all. They are often brief, bursty and very dynamic..." There are many unanswered questions: Why do the portals form every 8 minutes? How do magnetic fields inside the cylinder twist and coil?

It might benefit the team at the ranch to test the 8-minute shift finding. This is intriguing too, as if we are talking about possible aliens/cryptids from other worlds entering the location and exiting it, this constantly shifting x-point might be their portal.

Let's look at some of the phenomena mentioned at the ranch - strange creatures, weird lights, odd readings of EMF and the presence of strong gamma rays that don't appear to be emanating from radioactive geology but are above the ranch in the sky where gamma rays might be making it through these "portals."

A portal potentially being a doorway would open itself up to all kinds of beings to enter and exit, also creating uneasy feelings in the people on the ranch just from the type of energy being utilized. The sky ships coming and going in the blink of the eye could be utilizing this seam to traverse our worlds.

Should someone succumb to a headache, nausea or other symptoms, I would pay particular attention to every spectrum of viewing that ranch from UV to IR and beyond.

Are there other locations around the world that show similar qualities?

The Bermuda Triangle as pointed out earlier is also the location of a convergence of earth energy leylines. Instruments are noted to go wacky there, strange lights seen by pilots, odd fogs and disappearances.

The bilocation of the cattle from the corral to the trailer by the previous owners at the ranch seems to be the kind of spontaneous relocation reported by pilots.  One pilot in the Bermuda Triangle gave a detailed account of entering a fog, coming out of it and being in a new locations as if he had skipped there, as he couldn't possibly have reached that location in that amount of time.

If there is a location of disturbance in the magnetosphere, it would bring with it strange lights. If we were on the ranch, we would keep an IR camera on the ridge during the daytime, as well. If this shifting pattern happens about every 8 minutes if this is the cause, they should be timing events.

Dennis Guern and I have given yet another appraisal of a potential scenario for Skinwalker Ranch.  We aren't advocating any particular scenario, just hitting the possible explanations with supporting evidence so you, the reader, can make a personal decision on what's happening.

Last week, we talked about the Ark of the Covenant. The week before that we talked about thorium and other rare earth elements being at play.

Next week? Let's give a case for ancient giants....
