I'm going to share the collection of books I've written. I have other books that are more in the self-help category on Amazon Kindle, but here are my books that are both paperback and ebooks. You can find them at online stores including Amazon. My Facebook writer's page can be found HERE.

Ebook Cover Artist

Julie, who did the cover for our Kickin' Up Dust! (Getting Lost To Find Ourselves) book - is doing the redo cover for our "Abandoned Places: Abandoned Memories (Desert Edition)" book which we plan to put out in print.



She did a bunch of novel ideas for the cover and we are milling them over. It's a hard decision. If you need art for your ebooks, definitely check out her site.

She is also a fantastic artisan with her urban exploration inspired pieces in her Etsy shop and is a photographer with an extensive supply of stock photos to use for projects.

Yeah, I'm the "Mind Fuck Sniper," so what?

What did I ever do to earn such a moniker?

It probably began in Sunday school when I told the teacher that women did not come from men, men came from women. I explained that men had milk ducts and externalized their genitals with the right hormones in utero. In fact, if a man played with his nipples regularly enough, he could lactate. I might not have said it that tactfully.

It could have been in high school when a really uptight anthropology teacher gave my group the Mayans as the subject for a nice dry oral report filled with facts. I tore up the instructions, told my partners that we're baking a cake the shape of a Mayan temple. We arrived to class and instead of standing up in front with papers in hand, we sat at a table with the cake and one girl was the emcee as the other girl was my interviewer. You see, I was an anthropologist who traveled back in time and stayed with a Mayan family for a few weeks to study them. I gave them all the information in the interview that they needed for a complete report. Then, we promptly gave everyone a piece of Mayan cake. My friends cursed at me, certain the proper teacher would fail us. As it turned out, we all got 3 A's, so we didn't have to do the next two tests.

I don't mean to stir up the pot, but I always do. I hate complacency. I hate to talk about something, I want to DO it! I want experiences. I want memories. I want to learn things by putting my hands into it and mucking up in the debris. Everything is entertaining for me. Everything in the world has secret dimensions to be discovered like some kind of Chinese puzzle. I'm a dog with a bone when it comes to life's mysteries.

I appreciate all the readers that have jumped onboard here at GHT and Hug-A-Blogger and my Midnight Arroyo western horror series blogs for Josiah and Kai, POE (my research group) blogs, and my books on Kindle & Nook.

Expect some new features on GHT including the introduction of some hosted vlogs starting August first. I want to spend more face-to-face time with you and bring you in through pics, videos, and stories, the crazy adventures I'm getting into this year including some ghost hunts, UFO hunt, Bigfoot hunt and more. I want to take you to scary places and video what it's like to be alone there. I want to make this blog more of an interactive vehicle for adventures with y'all in the back seat as I take my road trips and explore the unknown.

Yeah, I fuck with your mind, and don't take anything too damned seriously, but you really can count on me to show you a new way of looking at things, opening your mind, treating you like the intelligent beings that you are, and giving you a few good chuckles from this brassy redhead.

In other words, thank you all, for letting me fuck with your minds. (Please note that this does differ from letting me fuck your brains out, that's a whole `nother issue)

Josiah: Undead Cowboy Released Today!!!

If you've been reading my fictional short stories (tab above), you might wonder if after two nonfiction books, I might try my hand at horror writing. I decided not to try my hand, but to throw in my feet, legs, arms, head, body... I took the plunge!

"Josiah: Undead Cowboy" is the first in my "Midnight Arroyo Series" of western twists on classic horror themes. This 99-cent novel is now available on
Kindle and Nook today! Don't forget, Kindle allows it to be downloaded to your Droid, IPad, home PC--you don't need a reader.

There are some very unusual and exciting twists in this vampire story. It even includes the ghost realm and the condition of vampirism, as well as what it's like to be an undead cowboy trying to do right and fighting his instincts, going up against some vampires in the abandoned gold mine.

The story was inspired by a trip to an old dead mining town where I saw a cowboy sucking on a cigarette and leaned up against a wall, booted ankles crossed, hat pulled down, pale eyes glowing. He didn't seem quite human and the town felt completely barren. That combination made me go "aha!" Hence, Josiah was born.

The other books in the series will also feature a hero whose head you get to climb inside of and whose experience you get to share with strange creative twists and bringing to life some creepy western locations I've been poking around.

The next book should be out in about two months (a zombie theme). Expect the hero character to pop up online and get his own blog, just like Josiah's.

Please consider hitting Amazon or Nook and enjoying a summer read. I hope on my next road trip/ghost hunt to be inspired for the third book in the series--perhaps a werewolf one or a classic slasher theme... one never knows!

Did I See a Ghost?

Answer this question by reading my book on Kindle and Nook. I hear this question sooooo often as an investigator, that I had to write a book about the subject. This takes people through the steps I take a client through to find out if what they experienced was paranormal or not and what to do once you determine if it was. These techniques don't just help in regards to the paranormal, but can be applied to anything that happens to you in life.

I'm in the process of several other nonfiction books including one I'm doing with Julie called "Kickin' Up Dust!" I'll talk more about that when I get back from our ghost hunt in Tombstone next weekend. I have my book about psychics and how to develop your skills in the works too, as well as my entire western horror fiction novellas called the "Midnight Arroyo" series.
