About Ghost Hunting Theories

Welcome to Ghost Hunting Theories, a blog, by Sharon Day, focused on presenting information about the nature of our world, both explained and unexplained, allowing the reader to be informed and inspired to explore the world's mysteries, ask questions, and seek answers.

Blog: Ghost Hunting Theories is a blog devoted to bringing information, hypotheses, and exposure to things of an unexplained nature, science, outdoor activities, travel, and expeditions. The goal is to inspire curiosity and exploration of the world, both the natural and the unknown.

Author/researcher: My name is Sharon Day. I am the author of two dozen books. This blog, Ghost Hunting Theories, is #1 in the world for ghost hunting topics, as well as being in the top paranormal blogs in the world. I am a screenwriter and producer for Saguaro Films and State 48 Films. You might see me sharing the industry and the films I'm working on, as well as lots of reviews and opinions about films by other filmmakers. I am also an artist.

My approach to the subject matter is based on field experience, deep research, and a way of looking at things that is fresh and logical. My creative insight helps the reader to be curious, to smile, to share, to be enlightened.

Subjects: Ghosts, hauntings, abandoned sites, local legends, ancient giants, ancient civilizations, archaeology, Bigfoot, cryptid creatures, aliens, UFOs/UAPs, hiking, camping, locations for study, road trips for investigating the unexplained, upcoming events in the arena of the unexplained, psychic skills, how to contribute to research, guidelines for investigating, treasure hunting, Halloween, horror, documentaries, films, Skinwalker Ranch, Blind Frog Ranch, portals, time travel, quantum physics, and other related subjects.

Why the name: Ghost Hunting Theories was established in 2008 when I was laid up recovering from an Achilles tendon surgery. My son knew I was bummed to not be working on my ghost investigations and suggested blogging. I really didn't know what this "blogging" thing was about, but I was so bored out of my mind, I decided that maybe I should write about the subject and maybe, just maybe, share some of my fresh ideas about the phenomena. I was into a lot of other unexplained subjects that eventually showed up on the blog and expanded into outdoors, expeditions, unban exploration, treasure hunting, and more. My love was the old "Argosy" magazine for men. I wanted to bring that focus back to the public eye since it dissolved decades ago. As I published books on the subjects, became sought after on podcasts and radio shows, and brought the blog to #1 status, I realized I am not alone with my interest in these subjects.

When I named the blog, it wasn't just about hunting ghosts, it was all things unexplained and theories/hypotheses related.

I've had the immense honor of working with researchers who lead their fields of study with whom I can bounce off ideas and stimulate new content. I'm in numerous private research groups. I've archived entire decades of researcher's work. I continue to explore locations, perform studies, and am stages of plotting events for those who want to experience these subjects.

The universe is an inspiring playground for the inquisitive and it is this blog, Ghost Hunting Theories, that is here to open minds and insert wonder.
