I always find the episodes more entertaining when they involve the land instead of the rockets and drones, and when the team runs across cryptids and brings in shaman. I am still awaiting CE5 protocol and some of Steven Greer's folks, maybe Chris Bledsoe....
This episode, the team focused on the high strangeness at the Homestead buildings. Yay!
The episode started with a visit to the Utah Valley University to get results on samples from the mesa. Using a special spectrometer, they look for carbon-hydrogen bonds as that would mean they could possibly date the material.
The materials had looked machine made and were originally considered over 1000 years old. The first sample "A" (ceramic-type) it could be carbon dated, so it will need to be sent off for that.
Type "B" reflected all the light back. There was no carbon. This showed that this one was a different type of material.
They decided to take them to a scanning electron microscope "SEM." The last time, the ceramic showed that under the scanning electron microscope, holes formed and when the scope was shut off, the holes repaired themselves. Once again, the material became porous under the SEM.
They tested type B material under SEM. It didn't seem to react to the beam. The conclusion was, they are not the same material.
They decided to get elemental analysis on ceramic "B" to compare them. Oxygen, calcium, phosphorus, trace silicone, aluminum, iron, sulfur, potassium. These are all present in the earth's crust.
They compared ceramic "A" and it was lots of magnesium and aluminum, iron, less calcium. They are significantly different.
They decided to look at the layered metal piece too. Strong amount of iron. While viewing, the screen went blank. They blew the electron filament. Eric decided that, as it will take time to replace the filament, they would get more items from the mesa and have more to compare.
The team then set up to study Homestead 3, where they got unexpected findings last episode. They decided to do the smoke and laser grid experiment they did last week on Homestead 3.
Eric decided to shoot a 1.2 GHz signal from Homestead 3 to Homestead 2 to see if it is echoed back. He is looking for a connection between the two buildings.
As they set up at nighttime, Travis and Kaleb at Homestead 2, got the 1.2 GHz signal before the experiment began. It feels like something knew their intentions. At the same time, the gamma ray detector screen was burned out. The device was fried.
When Eric ran the signal, it didn't show up at Homestead 2. They were physically close enough that it should have spiked on the screen. They walked the transmitter toward Homestead 2 to see when it would show up on the Homestead 2 screen.
As Thomas with the transmitter arrived at Homestead 2, the computer started locking up on Travis. Travis asked them to check the dosimeter. There had been a spike on the dosimeter, but then returned to normal.
They decided that, since gamma rays spiked, those at Homestead 2 decided to rejoin those at Homestead 3.
With the laser grid up inside Homestead 3 and then adding smoke to the air, they would be able to see if anything moved through the grid. They sent up a drone to look at the homestead from above.
The drone controller went out over Homestead 3. The messaging from the device showed it thought it was still on the ground, but it was in the air. Tons of things quit working.
As Jim flew the drone away from the homestead, signal worked again.
They did one more round of smoke to see if anything showed up in the laser beams or temperature wise. They got nothing during an extended experiment. The hope is, something shows up on review.
Specific hardware connected to Travis's computer went down. It seemed targeted. Is it something intelligent?
Reviewing the footage of the smoke and laser, the beams as a group seem like they are coming from an area that was not where the laser box was located. They were angled and should have been beamed straight ahead.
The grid had covered the entire wall in real time, but on reviewing, the beams in the video do not go where they were positioned. It's just off.
The laser grid in another room captured the grid in the room where it was angled wrong. It showed that the way they set up and viewed the grid live in that room was straight on, but the video showed it angled.
NOTE: It seemed as if Travis was implying that either something hacked the video or confused their viewing live. What I see is a visual of what happens with the LIDAR, when it shows things underground, and the GPS signals get confused and make the drone think it is still on the ground. This is a visual off, like the signal "offs" are in other experiments.
The FLIR camera aimed at the front door showed a flash in infrared range. Radiofrequency flashes could show up like that and could be related to the computer melt down at Homestead 2.
