I grew up in a Civil War hospital where I could read object's histories. I constantly observed ghostly activity in our home to find the correlations and instigators.
As I've been an adult, my Bell's palsy event and subsequent synkinesis has had me on a track of learning to use my immense capabilities in nurturing and psychic skills to learn to heal people. My grandmother was an Appalachian midwife and healer, giving my mom the recipes, and handing them to me.
