As I get into the local life in the Atlanta Metro area, I enjoy the quiet hamlet of Hiram, Georgia where I found my go-to restaurant!
Tequila has an inviting setting for the presentation of some truly genuinely delicious Mexican dishes.
I first ordered a Margarita and was pleasantly surprised. It was not too sour, very tall, and absolutely perfect on the hot muggy evening.
My boyfriend ordered his favorite, a dish they put together by his request, a carnitas salad. I was skeptical as I had come from Phoenix and the idea of pork on a salad sounded odd, but oh my gosh! The bits of pulled pork on the crisp lettuce is divine!
I now have to have the salad once a week!
The menu is not lacking - everything you can think of and an accommodating kitchen. The staff is one of my favorite parts of the experience - they are all so happy, friendly, and feel like an entire family that coordinates in a dance that creates fast service and warm greetings.
This has become a weekly go-to for me and my boyfriend and we meet up with the other locals who go once a week (or more). It becomes a weekly party where everyone knows your name.
If I could give this a rating, I'd say 5 peppers out of 5!
