Review: "The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch" S4 E14 "Meeting of the Minds"

This end-of-season roundtable talk involves the team, Brandon, and scientists of renown; all of them studying the results of the season's experiments.

The round table talk started off the episode. Brandon took command of multidisciplinary experts to help the team.

Jay Stratton was there. He managed the Bigelow investigations and prior leader of the UAP task force. Eric Davis, PhD was brought onboard. He is an astrophysicist and also a part of Bigelow's investigation.
Dr. Garry Nolan is a professor at Stanford University who had been tasked with investigating the UAP phenonemon.
Eric Schrock, and aerospace expert.
General Lord was a military expert and a member of Omnitech, was added to the panel.

Travis discussed the bubble and its center being over the triangle area. Erik chimed in about them trying to check if the bubble can be excited energetically. They elaborated on the smoke ring experiment and the obvious odd outcomes within the bubble.

They demonstrated video and imaging of heat on themesa ridge and UAPS. At the same time as the thermal anomalies, the sensor at Homestead 2 had a GPS glitch and looked like it was traveling up and over the mesa when it was still fastened at Homestead 2.

Erik and Travis explained to the experts the issues with the bubble and the odd glitches in instruments there. Erroneous GPS data and oddities in other areas of the ranch were explained. They shared the findings within the river on the property and the dead zone for instruments and GPS showed them deep below the ground.

The team also revealed the laser experiment and the odd breaks in the beams. They went into detail about the two boreholese and how that went down. Borehole 1 was completed but they almost got through borehole 2 within 30 feet when ceramic and metal flakes coming out of the spoils had them decide to stop. They discussed the materials were most likely manufactured and they were around 200-300 feet into the mesa horizontally. They showed the experts how the ceramic reacted to electron microscope that would seem to repair itself.  They concluded from testing the ceramics, that it could be a superconductor. This is a futuristic dream!

The experts concluded the potential importance of finding a superconductor material. Brandon asked about how to protect the integrity of the dig site for the next year. They were suggested to start at the top of the mesa. A sister company to Omnitech has partnered with the team to help aid them to take the research to the next level. SEOPS satellite company will be helping with the ranch's info. The team will design what they need on the satellite.

They reinterated the importance of what was found and the basic focus of the next season.

★★★

My take on the season was so/so. I am pleased with anything having to do with the mesa and its contents and less impressed with rockets in the air. The ceramic led to many possibilities for what is in the mesa. Here's some possibilities -

1. A space program craft crashed into the mesa in the 1960s. The fact that the ceramic was like America would have designed to shield from reentry makes sense, but... This hypothesis is less likely because the ceramic has some odd reparative qualities and because they found the green gel in the mesa that was plant matter that had been burned, but in present days, there are no plants there.

2. A UFO crashed into the mesa thousands of years ago. This can be supported by the green goo that was burned plant material (from an era when there was water and plants there). The only questionable part of this is the ceramic. It seems odd that by some one in a billion chance there is a civilization investigating Earth that they also designed their tiles with a similar ceramic composition.

3. My own hypothesis is exceptional, but also manages to incorporate the ceramic that we might have designed on Earth and the plant matter that was burned. It also puts us in a Back-to-the-Future scenario. Let's suppose that Bigelow and the government let the ranch be bought by an outsider, a regular respected businessman. They watched him put together a team and uncover what's in the mesa (something they knew to be there). They left the common man declare the finding. We study the contents and get the technology advancements to move to a whole new capability of time travel. So, we work on technology and in our future, we test the first time travel with the machine. It unfortunately goes back thousands of years and crashes into the area that is now the arid mesa. It burns the plants there. It leaves its remnants. Now, in order for us to get the technology, we must have someone discover it so we can learn the technology so it can happen. Mind scramble, huh? In fact, the witnessed orb going through the mesa and reports of things going through it could show many time lines in the future when the transmedium capabilities and time travel were common. In fact, the ranch could be atop a time traveling vortex, a "starport" for coming and going into this reality.

However you see the season, we will no doubt be pondering it all year, awaiting another season and more insight. I do hope they give up the drones and rockets and focus on the finding in the mesa and quit being such pussies about digging the last 30 feet in the second borehole.
