Summer Paranormal Vacays: Savannah Georgia Ghosts

If you love culture, fine dining, and the city life for your vacation, but you're always a paranormal geek, there's probably no city more satisfying than Savannah, Georgia.

History buffs will fall in love with the older architecture of the historic district, along with the museums. Jones Street, considered the prettiest street, is a must-walk.

The Bonaventure Cemetery is one of the most photographed historic cemeteries. With its live oak trees and dripping moss, historic statues and headstones, it is one of the most photographed cemeteries in the country.

Haunted inns and ghost tours abound in Savannah. The Marshall House Hotel is considered the most haunted place to stay. Some ghost tours equip participants with ghost hunting tools, some tour in buses or hearses, and some are walking tours. It's worth investigating.

Fine dining in Savannah is a no-brainer. Deep South recipes mixed with the convenience of seafood makes for unlimited gorging.

In the fall, Tybee Island nearby has a pirate festival. Look for fun events all year in this friendly and beautiful historic, but creepy town.
