Review: "The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch" S6 E8 "Swarm Weather"

Tonight's episode is described as a stunning UAP appears during an illuminated drones experiment and the timing of what happens next, leaves the team in disbelief.

The episode started out at the drill site where they were drilling borehole 2. They monitored with spectrum analyzers as they drilled around the 200-foot level because borehole 1, that's when they got strange signals. Once again, there was battery drain on a drilling instrument. They dumped more spoils from the borehole so they could examine what the drill came in contact with.

They found more of the green jelly substance that proved to be charred plant material. The archaeologist Chris Roberts found a chunk of what looked like gypsum with a lot of iron on it, layered rust. Travis pondered if the metal inside the mesa may have caused the iron oxide on the gypsum.

The 1.2 GHz signal started up again like the last time. Another spectrum analyzer got a 1.6 GHz signal. As they were studying the drill process, the cows started acting up. Elevated radiation levels were found on one of the property's meters on the south side of the ranch.

The team ran into strong winds and had to breakdown equipment and put it safely away.

The next day, as drilling was occurring, they brought in the SkyElements drone team. They deployed drone swarms inside and outside the bubble. They looked to see if any readings were off. The goal was to see if the bubble was causing anomalous readings. They also shot rockets up the center of the cylinder-shaped swarms. They were drilling at the same time, so they could see if poking the mesa and poking the sky create more activity.

As they were getting ready to launch the drones, one showed itself 800 feet in the air, but it was on the ground. The GPS base station every 5 seconds exactly was losing signal. The base station outside the bubble is 2 seconds behind the triangle. These are connected to satellites in space to have master clocks that match.

The 1.2 GHz signal started again and showed patterns of being communication. They turned the antenna to see where it was coming from and it was strongest at the "in point" on the mesa. This was the point where they saw a UAP enter the mesa.

The men at the drill site saw a bright light in the sky. It just vanished. Erik headed back to command center to monitor the experimients.

They launched the drone swarm in the east field outside the bubble. They also launched the swarm inside the bubble. They created tall cylinders of 100 drones each. A LIDAR drone was used to observe. They then set off pyrotechnics to create smoke and sparks to look for anything "invisible."

Lastly, they shot a rocket up the drone swarm cylinder in the triangle.  It went up just fine. They ran into issues with the rocket in the east field outside the bubble. It simply would not shoot, the battery was dead. Travis decided to use his car battery to try and launch, but the swarm was returning to its launch location.

They relaunched the drone swarms again. And, once again, poor Travis couldn't get it up. The rocket would not launch. Finally, Travis got his rocket launch and then it began to rain. They closed down the experiment for the night.

Two days later, they met at command center to review data. As the two drone swarms were monitored by a master clock, the one outside the bubble was 2 seconds behind the swarm inside the bubble. Pete's LIDAR showed something anomalous within the bubble. They weren't sure what to make of this blue cloud-like thing on the ground.

They captured a very bright thing in the sky going many thousands of miles per hour that just disappeared.

Travis thought the things happening in the east field might be related to the bubble. That is what they want to explore next.

Matty Blake interviewed Brandon Fugal about the findings throughout the season.

Tonight's episode of "Beyond Skinwalker Ranch" is entitled "Inspiring and Terrifying." Paul and Andy meet with the Skinwalker Ranch team to review evidence from Phase 2 research.

The episode started out with Andy and Paul in command center on Skinwalker Ranch with Brandon, Erik, and Travis. They reviewed what it is they want to accomplish, testing more locations.

The team mentioned that UAPs were significant this series of experiments this season. They discussed equipment failures. Paul and Andy are seeing similarities with Skinwalker Ranch.

I'm not sure how to sum up the episodes, but this was easily the lamest evening for all three shows. I am so tired of rockets and drones. I want boots on the ground and organic experiments including studies of the materials coming out of the mesa.
