Thylacine Sightings: Tasmanian Tiger


This "Ozenkadnook Tiger" photo was taken in 1964 by Rilla Martin in Southern Australia. She reported the snout to be pig-like and it was about the size of a labrador. Although it has the stripes of the extinct thylacine "Tasmanian Tiger," the features and proportions seem different. In fact, it is compared to the very-long extinct Marsupial lion.
