The concept of a hollow earth within the earth has been around for centuries. Native legends of underground people, missing tribes, lost cultures, and aliens, ancient giants, and other unexplained races's disappearances keep the concept alive. Speculation about planes not flying over the poles and blurred out imagery of the poles make the speculation even more active.
