Yay! Another episode and another chance to riddle the puzzle of Skinwalker Ranch. This episode, "Up in Smoke" provided some novel curiosities.
They set out to see if all the places with anomalies are tied together by one thing, possibly whatever is in the mesa.
Between 60-70 feet on the dig, they did find some metal, so they decided to do another 2-foot borehole where the "big" object was detected underground.
Chris Roberts, the archaeologist, helped the team to look for any ceramics of metals in the dig debris. They came across some rusty metal debris clinging to their magnet.
The drill was at the 40-foot level and where they believed the anomaly was located, but the drill wasn't meeting any resistance.
Jan Francke (GPR expert) was able to do more scans inside the first borehole a new scanner he designed. He felt radio waves had been jammed when the first device for taking measurements went down the borehole. This one was encrypted.
Jan processed the data by morning. This time, they had usable data. About 80 feet down the #1 borehole, an anomaly. This puzzled the team - why hadn't they hit the anomaly yet?
Around 290-300 feet down borehole #1 there were amazing and strong anomalies. They could get more precise data dropping the radar down the new holes they drilled to get closer to the anomalies.
Homestead 2 became their new focus after the shaman did the prayer ceremony there. They had seen orbs there, cold anomalies, and strange signals there. They dedided to use lasers and smoke gun to perceive anything invisible to the naked eye at Homestead 2. They also decided to use the whistle sound the shaman had used and placing LIDAR and infrared and cameras inside and outside of the homestead, and spectrum analyzers. Eric studied the input from the command center.
Travis walked away from his instruments after giving a brief test of the 1.6 GHz signal to Eric. The generator on its own began to play the 1.6 GHz signal.
Thomas began blowing smoke into the building until it was full and then they turned on the laser grid. During the experiment, Eric could see a light at Homestead 3. They sent Thomas and Kaleb out to see if anyone was there. They decided to have Jim send a drone up in the air there too. Kaleb thought he saw a green light at the homestead. Thomas saw a flicker in the brush. When the drone got over Homestead 3, it showed it was very hot. It was a cool night, so shouldn't be like that. They hoped that during processing data at the end of the night, Eric might see what the light was about.
They decided to fill Homstead 2 with smoke and the laser grid inside to show anything their eyes don't pick up. They then added the ceremonial whistle sound. Just then, the GPS started showing odd height at the building, it had been on the roof, but now seemed to think it was up above. The 1.6 GHz signal came from Homestead 2. The Navajo prayer seemed to be a catalyst.
Something moved through the laser beams. Pete Kelsey rushed in to slam scan the interior. Pete's walkie wasn't working inside the building. This wasn't the first time equipment didn't work inside the building.
They had Jim fly the drone through the bubble boundary as they once again filled the building with smoke and lasers again. Jim's signal quit working to direct the drone at the boundary. Once through, he got signal again.
The next day, they went over the data. The video showed the strange void that went through the laser like a strange blob that went in and out. It was also where the radio interruption was happening. Travis compared it to a one-way door info goes in and doesn't come out.
They looked at the frame by frame footage of the light over Homestead 3. They looked at the drone footage that showed the ground was in the 40-degree range, but the building was cold and inside the homestead it was up in the 60s in temperature. They don't know if it was heated up because of the light that had been overhead. They realized that they need an experiment at Homestead 3.
One thing I appreciated was that they had a diversity of tests that involve the ground area. The entire ranch seems to react to stimuli and any reactions can help to understand what is orchestrating it. The preview of next week looked very exciting with some exciting findings.
Keep it going, team!
