Gravity Hills: Where Cars Seem to Roll Uphill

Gravity hills can be a locals' favorite spot to go after dark and place the car in neutral and see it roll up hill.
Such locations are an optical mystery that makes the mind ponder if some areas have a different sort of gravity situation.

Spook Hill in Lake Wales, Florida at 600 N. Wales Dr. There are legends of an Indian chief and an alligator that are an interesting local legend. The instructions are to stop at the white line, put the car in neutral, and it will roll back.

Gravity Hill in Prosser, Washington at 101204 N. Crosby Rd. At the base of a small incline, you put your car in neutral and it appears to roll uphills. The area also has legends of ghosts and UFOs.

Confusion Hill in Piercy, California at 75011 N. Hwy 101. This one is amid a logging redwood forest.

Mooresville Gravity Hill in Indiana at Keller Hill Rd. This one has a lovely tale behind it. They say that a school bus was stuck on a railroad track and a few kids died. They believe the kids push cars uphill to get them out of harm's way. This may be why folks often bring flour and sprinkle it on their cars to look for wee handprints.

St. Ignace Mystery Spot in St. Ignace, Michigan at 150 Martin Lake Rd. It is one of those odd places where a tall person and a short person appear to be the same height. It can even make people feel a bit queasy and light-headed.

😟😟😟

My favorite location for this kind of odd weirdness is the Montana Vortex in Flathead County, Montana. You get to not only see the weird effects of gravity distortion and explore a lot of information on the magic of the earth.
