Abandoned Malls


Once, they were alive with teens galore, mixing and mingling, seeing and being seen, laughing in the food court, waiting in line at the theater, giggling at the items in Spencer's gift shop.


Today?

Kids are online and video Facetime mingling in the ether that is the Internet. 

And today malls sit like old-fashioned gas lights from a 1940s neighborhood.

The death of the shopping malls began a life of something new - medical centers, satellite schools, indoor flea markets, and even condos. 




Although some malls are making conversions to new life, the majority were left as shells. Let's have a look at those shells that weren't converted yet.
