Lockdown Movie Marathon Laughs

There are plenty of awful disease and contagion movies out there, but for the lockdown, we need some upbeat movies about renewal and conquering.

Here's my top 10 favorite chucklers -

I Love You, Man! Paul Rudd (my fave!) plays a girlfriend's dream guy who gets engaged and realizes he has no guy friends to attend the wedding. So, he sets out to find a bestie.

Captain Ron Kurt Russell plays Captain Ron, a halfhazard laid back ship captain hired by an unsuspecting family to sail their inherited yacht and them across the Caribbean.

The Burbs Tom Hanks plays a guy suspicious of the creepy new neighbors and begins a conspiracy theory that they are a family of killers.

Meatballs Bill Murray stars in this 1970s classic about summer camp.

Rat Race An all-star cast shows up in this fun movie that is a take on "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" theme of a treasure hunt.

The Jerk Steve Martin stars in this 1970s classic comedy about a dim-witted guy finding his way in the world.

American Pie This teen fave is about losing virginity before graduation.

The Hangover This hysterical movie deals with a group of bachelor party guys in Vegas who wake up from a wild party and can't recall what happened or where the groom is.

Bridesmaids Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy own this hilarious movie about a down and out single girl and her exploits helping her best friend prepare to get married.

The Ghost and Mr. Chicken This nostalgic Don Knotts movie involves a small-town reporter wannabe who is dared to spend the night in a haunted house.
