Ghost Ship-Themed Movies

There is nothing like a ghost ship movie to give you lingering chills and thrills. Here's a list of some of my faves -

Ghost Ship: A salvage crew discovers a long-lost 1962 passenger ship floating lifeless in a remote region of the Bering Sea, and soon notices that its long-dead inhabitants may still be on board.

The Fog: A town has to come to grips with their dark past and the ship of ghosts who want to roll in with the fog and take their lives one by one.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Based on the Disney ride, this sea tale is a rich and beautiful one, lighthearted, and romantic involving cursed ghost pirates.

Triangle: A group of friends suffer a yachting accident and take refuge on a cruise drifting on the open sea, but quickly realize they were better off on the upturned yacht

The Ghost Ship: Tom Merriam signs on the ship Altair as third officer under Captain Stone. At first things look good, Stone sees Merriam as a younger version of himself and Merriam sees Stone as the first adult to ever treat him as a friend. But after a couple strange deaths of crew members, Merriam begins to think Stone is a psychopathic madman obsessed with authority. He tries to tell others, but no one believes him, and it only makes Stone angry.

The Goonies: A town has to come to grips with their dark past and the ship of ghosts who want to roll in with the fog and take their lives one by one.

The Haunted Sea: A crew finds an abandoned ship at sea and an Aztec cursed treasure on board.

Lost Voyage: Twenty five years ago, the SS Corona Queen disappeared in the region known as, "The Bermuda Triangle". Now, it has returned. Seven people go on board to learn the truth behind her disappearance but the ship did not return alone.

Cruise Into Terror: A pleasure cruise is carrying an Egyptian sarcophagus with the son of Satan inside.

Death Ship: A team of salvage workers find a ship dead in the water and look it over for some goods only to find that it's occupied - by ghosts.
