Sound Frequency: What Did Ancients Know?

Nikola Tesla knew.

It may sound new age, but there are some very basic tenants of our universe that provide us with all we need. The Pagans of olde understood this. We have everything we need right here. Just trust the earth and the sciences involved in Gaia.

Energy. Frequency. Vibration.

Binaural Beats: Scientist Melinda Maxfield, PhD, conducted research on the drumbeats used during rituals of ancient cultures and found that they generally beat at a steady rate of 4.5 beats per second.

This consistent beat induces a trance-like state for the tribe, due to the brain shifting into a 4.5 beats-per-second brainwave frequency, which is a low Theta brainwave state, as you'll learn about below.

Ancients utilized caves that gave off the proper frequency when they chanted - and they did this practice around the world. Such a chanting vessel can be found at an ancient Native site, Besh-Ba-Gowah in Globe Arizona, and all through the other countries of the world.

Today we think of these frequencies as acoustics and consider the technical properties aesthetically. But sound performs function as well. Consider the powers of extracorporeal shock waves to break apart kidney stones.

Let's see what sound resonance can do to sand -

How about what infrasonic sound (lower than our ability to hear) can do to water -

Drum circles. Chanting "om." Throat singing. Singing bowls.

It is in our DNA to appreciate sound, whether it's singing or instruments, the tinkle of rain on a tin roof, or the humming of a beloved mother.

Perhaps it is time to turn off the radio and turn on the right frequencies -
