Spirit Energy: How To Recognize It and Use It

"Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it transforms from one form to another. For instance, chemical energy can be converted to kinetic energy in the explosion of a stick of dynamite."

Do you know any better energy machine than a human body and human brain? We are electrical, chemical, with all kinds of biological alchemy running a sentient being in mortal form.

But what happens when we die?

Have you ever been in a location known to be haunted and feel "something" pass through you? If you did, you don't even have to bat an eye to answer YES! It is quite a memorable experience when the energy goes through one part of you and right out the other side. It creates an electrical tingle - almost a cold electrical chill that has you suspended in breathing and animation for a moment as it occurs. It's almost euphoric and rapturous.

What does spirit energy feel like? It's recognizable to the mortal body. Arm and scalp tingles are the first signs of close exposure.

When energy is near, but not touching, you are likely to feel a lurking sensation of being watched. You might keep looking to one corner of the room where you feel like something is peering back.

We have an exceptional extra-sense of perception that involves intention. We can feel someone's intent upon us.

Have you ever been in a restaurant or somewhere in a public place and you feel as if someone behind you, perhaps to the right, is watching you and you turn to find they are intently staring? This is more along the lines of spirit energy, auras, and the PSI connection we all have but often neglect or ignore.

We are, by our powers of perception and our tactile surface area, able to note energies that are of human origin/spirit content.

One way we can know more about spiritual energy is to study the hands. Hands-on healing, Reiki, and the simple act of hugging are all notable methods by which we heal others with our own spiritual energy.

Hands are an entry and exit point on the body for energy. As a psychometrist (one who psychically reads objects to know about others who have come in contact with the object), I know that there is one hand that is best for drawing in energy.

This input hand can read psychic information, emotions, and even tell if someone doesn't feel well or if they are being evasive, by simply touching them with that input hand.

The other hand is the output hand that sends energy out to subdue someone or comfort them and heal.

In most cases, the input hand is the non-dominant hand and the output hand is the dominant hand, but not always.

Here is a simple test:

Place your palms facing each other in front of your chest. Keep them as close as possible to being able to bend the fingers towards the opposite palm without touching it, but coming close.

Stroke the left fingers toward the right palm and feel the sensations. Then, switch hands and stroke the right fingers toward the left palm. Whichever hand felt the stroking more strongly is the input hand. The fingers that were doing the stroking were on the output hand.

Input hand: Usually the nondominant hand, felt the stroking from the other hand's fingers, is used to read objects, feel other's emotions or know if they are being truthful.

Output hand: Usually the dominant hand, was the hand doing the finger stroking that was felt by the input hand, is used for subduing people, calming them, giving comfort, or healing.

When I perform seances, I have the participants sit at the table and put their palms up, they don't need to touch each other to make a circle. I prefer they do not because touching others creates disruption in one's own individual soul energy. If spirit energy is attracted to a particular energy of someone at the table, I want them to be individually displayed. Palms up allows both the reading of information from the other side, as well as sending out one's own spirit energy to attract.

When I do ghost investigations, I often put my palms upward and try to have as few people around as possible so I become a spirit energy beacon, like a lighthouse for the other side. They can be drawn to a single spirit energy more than a huge blinding group of people's energy. It's the difference between trying to look at the sun versus finding a welcoming candlelight in a dark room.

This aura is an example of calling on your spiritual energy. When the aura photographer was preparing to take the picture, I told her that I was going to call on all the spirits that follow me everywhere to come forward and be seen. She smiled as if humoring me. Then we sat talking while we watched the Polaroid develop. Her eyes were as big as saucers. I smiled.

On this photo above, I told the photographer that I was going to look up at the spot where I get my psychic info from - it is above me and slightly right of center. We picked up the photo from developing and I smiled.

The next time I went, my brother had passed on a few weeks before, but I felt him over my right shoulder incessantly. I told her there would be something there on the photo and she smiled and nodded. But, then it developed and...she was breathless!

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

Don't forget that, although we are searching to make contact with the other side, we are already spiritual forms. It is that very energy that draws the near and that gives us a conduit to conduct communications.

Some people choose to use enhancements and reinforcements for their spiritual energy, whether it is prayer, protective amulets, religious symbols, crystals and rituals. Anything that you have belief behind, feel attuned with and that empowers you with positive strong energy, is beneficial. Do not make light of the power of having a photo of your child in your pocket, a lucky penny in your shoe, or a piece of labradorite on a string around your neck.

(LABRADORITE:  A stone of transformation and magic. It is said to clear, balance and protect the aura, as well as being an excellent stone for general protection. It is purported to help provide clarity and insight into your destiny, as well as attract success. It is used in metaphysics for dream recall, and finding ways to use dreams in daily life. Mystically, energies of stress and anxiety are said to be reduced by labradorite, possibly due to is energy of self-confidence. Labradorite is said to increase intuition, psychic development, esoteric wisdom, help with subconscious issues, and provide mental illumination.

When it comes to the use of stones/crystals, I suggest you sample them in your hand. A stone/crystal can be very helpful but only if it melds with your own energy. For instance, you want a stone to protect you. For a person who is shy, timid, or weak, that stone would need to comfort them. If you were an assertive strong person, that stone would need to be very powerful and aggressive. When you hold it in your input hand, you will know if it feels a part of you that enhances or if it fights against you and feels intrusive. Choose the stone that feels like the fit of a good sword in your hand - perfect fit, not uncomfortable, not irritating.

Never forget when you are investigating that you are not separate from the spirit realm, you are simply cloaked in mortal flesh which puts your focus on this dimension. Once that distraction is removed upon our passing, it becomes apparent to us what our true essence is.

When you are interacting, remember that you contain the spirit as well as the flesh. Spirit is indomitable and unable to be wounded. The mind and the flesh are able to be breached. So, keep that perspective when you consider the possibilities of harm or possession, they occur purely to the mind and as a result the body.

This is not a perspective you are taught by many ghost investigators who appreciate the theatrics involved in possession and demons, so they can be modern-day heroes and warriors of the right.

I leave my thoughtful readers to consider this post, digest the information, and determine your own course. I appreciate free thinking and free will, but I also like to give you new perspectives to chew on.
