If you want to share a horror movie night with your man and show him you understand what he wants to see - these are my top choices. These are all also very chilly-themed movies with very amazing atmospheres and moods - ideal for blanketing together!
I think for a night like this I'd make burger sliders with thousand island and melted fontina cheese with glazed grilled onions. I'd do some homemade french fries, seasoned just right. Then, lots of icy beer and a big fluffy blanket to curl up in!
Dessert? Reese's Brownies - press them into the brownies when they are hot from the oven (or you can do bite-sized mounds, snickers....)
RAVENOUS: In a remote military outpost in the 19th Century, Captain John Boyd and his regiment embark on a rescue mission which takes a dark turn when they are ambushed by a sadistic cannibal. (This one is historically accurate feeling, amazing setting, very gritty and tense - have a blanket, you will feel cold)
DEATHWATCH: In the middle of World War I, nine British soldiers caught behind enemy lines seek refuge in a complex network of German trenches. What they soon discover is that they aren't alone - and it isn't a German soldier that's hunting them down. (This one is cold and icy, very atmospheric and tense - super creepy)
TROLLHUNTER: A group of students investigates a series of mysterious bear killings, but learns that there are much more dangerous things going on. They start to follow a mysterious hunter, learning that he is actually a troll hunter. (One of my all-time favs, taking a legend and making it seem feasible in an icy Nordic setting)

Dog Soldiers: A routine military exercise turns into a nightmare in the Scotland wilderness. (This is a gorgeous and really fine werewolf flick)
SAUNA: As a 25-year war between Russia and Sweden concludes, two brothers who are part of an effort to outline new border accords become undone by their actions, and their mistreatment of a young woman during their journey. (Oh, this one has an icy amazing setting that is so creepy, the characters so haunting, the situation so unknown and historically authentic feeling).
