Thunderbirds: Creepy, Mystical, Terrifying and Spectacular!

Thunderbirds was a British SciFi show that ran from 1965-66. The Tracy family operate a unique private mechanized emergency response service. It used a type of marionette puppetry called "supermarionation." Seriously, this show scared the crap out of me as a toddler and I would hide behind the chair and wait until my brother was done watching it.

It's going to be pricy by you can get the boxed set of the episodes online.

The Thunderbird in Native American culture is a supernatural bird that represents power and strength. Its wings are said to make thundering sounds when it flaps them.

In the cryptozoology realm, there is a reported modern-day Thunderbird described by most as a pteranodon or prehistoric bird.

The United States Air Force "Thunderbirds" are a performance squadron with amazing expertise and awe-inspiring to watch. They were named after the Native American legend for their power and strength.
