Casa Grande Ruins

Julie and I went to the Casa Grande Ruins yesterday. You might have seen some earlier mischief on the blog about this trip. This was a beautiful and amazing site. Three great horned owls made their homes up inside the canopy above the ruins, like silent sentinels. The desert wind whistled. Faint Native American flute music carried on the breeze from the museum. If you are ever in Coolidge/Casa Grande area, you must visit this beautiful site. It feels very meditative and the museum docents are fantastic, personable, knowledgeable, and fun.
