Brian Keene's book "Ghoul" is being made into a movie that premieres tonight at 9 on Chiller Channel. Looks like a horror Goonies-feeling movie.

    I'd love a good Goonies-esque film. Super 8 was alright, but it really lacked the charm and giddy, adventure-filled wonder and romance of earlier works like Goonies. It tried to be a bit too grown up, I think. I well made film like this would, ideally, leave grown ass folk leaving the theater feeling 12 year's old again.

    Thanks for the heads-up on this, Sharon. Ditto on the Goonies feel. However, as any monsterologist can tell you, the only people there are to fear ghouls are the dead, since that's who they eat & I daresay something else, too. Cheers!
