The argument continues and especially today when Bigfoot interest is reaching a peak. I don't need to ask if Bigfoot exists, but I cannot tell you if the Patterson film is real. There is no way to verify that which is the issue with video evidence. Even if everyone there when it happened swears that it is authentic, they could still be lying. Even if we prove Bigfoot exists, we can never prove definitively that Bigfoot was in that video.

It will always come down to this: If you believe ghosts exist, then every unexplained sound and shadow can be a ghost, but if you are willing to admit that ghosts exists but that not everything is a ghost, then you are not letting your belief system drive your observations for each individual case that comes along. That makes for a good investigator and a fair judgment.
