James Wan from "Saw," "Dead Silence," and "Insidious" is out to rock our haunted world even more and more and more! He is working on two films, "Insidious 2" and "The Warren Files."
According to Variety:
The Warren Files and has added young actors Mackenzie Foy and Joey King to its cast list. Though she is only 12 years old, Foy is already recognized by millions because she plays Renesmee, the daughter of Edward and Bella, in the Twilight franchise, while King is best known for her role in 2010's Ramona and Beezus. King is also in a pair of upcoming high-profile movies, including Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises and Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great And Powerful. The film, which is based on a true story, is about the Perron family, who, during the 1970s, claimed that they lived among the dead. Though the trade doesn't say it explicitly, one can assume that King and Foy will be playing the daughters in the Perron family, with Livingston and Taylor playing the parents. Wilson, who previously worked with Wan on Insidious, and Farmiga will be playing investigators looking into the Perrons' claims. Chad and Carey Hayes wrote the script and production is scheduled to begin later this month on location in North Carolina.
I'm digging the cast--here's the parents in the film (Lily Taylor and Ron Livingston):
"Insidious 2"
It is hard to get a good ghost-themed horror movie maker out there. I think Wan has some amazing strengths and a few weaknesses, but I will always see whatever he offers because us haunted-themed movie goers, we are after his work like the only pub in town.
