I'd like to thank Cullan who has my favorite paranormal blog, Strange State. Why? Because he is the dude version of me as far as his take on the paranormal, his wit about the ghost hunting shows, his love of writing nonfiction about the paranormal and horror fiction. He just designed the new banner at the top of my blog, knowing my love of steampunk and my desire this Halloween to dress up as a Steampunk Ghost.
He has an amazing line of products out with Kreepy Girl on them and there's a dude, as well. The line is expanding quickly and I plan to scoop up these amazing items as fast as possible. I have a wish list in order of what I want to get! She is my new hero and I know she will be yours. Let's nag this talented man to death to write Kreepy Girl books and even perhaps an animation of this crazy steamgoth gal.
I recently reviewed his newly published horror book "The Mound" and I cannot recommend it enough. As a psychic and a ghost hunter, I found it to be terribly authentic and absolutely chilling with action nonstop. It is a must read!
This is what I love about blogging and, in fact, I discussed with Julie recently that we should consider making a banner that says "Buy locally-from bloggers" because I generally like to keep my business within the blogger community and promote these grassroots writers, artists, musicians, and craftspeople.
We have the ability to promote our own fellow bloggers and help each other out as we work our way in our loved professions instead of our abysmal day jobs. So, with that in mind, give Cullan's Cafe Press site a look over and for goodness sake--read his book. I vow you will be unable to put it down! Let's promote our fellow bloggers! We all win!
Keep plugging away.
ReplyDeleteI would fight to the end for all my talented blogging friends. I am honored to be in a group of such talented folks and rush to keep up with y'all.
ReplyDeleteThe new banner is FAB, Autumn!! I'm expecting my Kreepy Girl purchase, from Cafepress, to arrive any day now!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree that Kreepy Girl has a big future!!
Thanks, guys and gals. I'm glad to see such a positive response to this character and these designs.
ReplyDeleteAlso--and it may be subtle--but the specially designed GHT version of Kreepy Girl has, aside from red hair, an ample bosom. I figured that would be appreciated. LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou're onto something, Cullan. Now, I must insist you go back to your mad lab and continue to put out chilling books and amazing art!
ReplyDeleteA dude version of yourself? interesting! lol.
ReplyDeleteby the way, I like the new banner!
ReplyDeleteLikey the banner!
ReplyDeleteYeah, well, Cullan is a far sight better looking than me, but hey we have a lot in common so he's the dude version. Thanks on the banner--he is a very talented guy.
ReplyDeleteThe banner looks great .
