Blogger Zombie Walk 2011!!!!

Try this out and make yourself into a zombie.

So, we did a zombie walk earlier in the year, but it was my intention to do one to help launch the October busy season for us zombie lovers.

Here's what it is:
Bloggers who participate will put up a post on Friday September 30th that has to do with zombies. Last year, I did videos showing how to do zombie makeup. You can film a zombie walk. You can write a fictional zombie piece, do a zombie giveaway or zombie poem. You can review zombie books or movies. Get creative. Have a blast! If you want to make zombie crafts and advertise them for sale, go for it. Just do something ZOMBIE!

Participants can post the above pic on their blogs to advertise ahead of time. It was designed by the most talented artist in the blog world, Jeremy (I own some of his horror art). They can use any social media or means they want to publicize the event. The goal here is to lots of traffic to zombie-loving sites.

A few days before the event, I will send each participant a list of those in the event and their blog addresses. They will add this list of participants and their links to the bottom of their post. When folks are done reading your post, they can click on another blog and go there, hence the readers are on a blogger zombie walk through blogs...

This is how you join in:

I put up a button on my blog that advertises the event and date. If you want your blog to join us, just email me at ghosthuntingtheories@gmail.com. I will want to know if you're in on this by September 26th.

Don't worry: I will be reminding everyone about this and my email address will be listed below the button that will go on my blog, so you can always join in any time before September 26th. The last zombie walk was a blast and I expect this event to kick off the Halloween season in a huge way and give you lots of exposure to your awesome blogs!

    I think I'd do myself up as a zombie and do my usual hip hop dance, but have some looseness to it and some of the fumbling qualities. We'll see if I'm brave enough to show my hip hop skills.

    Poor Shoes. You get better, dear. Can't wait to see what you do. You could even videotape your red shoes walking stumbling along and some groaning sounds and at some point, drop some intestines on the sidewalk and we realize you were an eat and run zombie.

    Oh, this is such a cool idea! When I first read 'Zombie Walk', I assumed it was a literal walk, or in other words: "Damn, I can't be involved because I'm on the other side of the earth!" But now I realize that it's a virtual walk... well I'm doing a little zombie happy dance!

    I'll have to get my braaaaaains working and think of an appropriate post!
