"Sleeping Dog" Documentary Reviewed: HUGE Disaapointment!

Prime was offering "Sleeping Dog' documentary for free.
I see why.

I really wanted this to be good. I enjoyed the Bob Lazar S4 documentary recently released.

I believe in Jeremy's trek into uncovering alien secrets. He's a very likeable and genuine guy.

But....here's how I will describe it:

Imagine Einstein clipping his toenails. His cat walks by. He chit chats about the misses nagging him. Next, cut to him in his robe hobbling to the bathroom. Then, he has lunch with a politician and they eat their steaks in silence.

After about 15 mins of the slice of life vignettes, he turns to the camera and tells you a theory he just created, only in a few words, no picture, no samples of the equation, just "hey, I just realized that space, time and gravity are not fixed." and then it cuts to him at his desk, feeding the cat part of his biscuit.

Yeah, this was the most godawful documentary I've ever seen. It wasn't artsy. It wasn't slice of life (unless you're schizophrenic).

Jeremy, please keep up the hard work, but please don't make any more documentaries.

There were moments where Jeremy brought in toooooo much of his personal life and vulnerabilities. This isn't part of the story and... it made him seem less credible and more of a handyman with dreams of being an investigator.

This subject matter is not only a popular one, but a hot button for many. Jeremy showed his trek. He didn't show the content.

Corbell covered many personalities he dealt with and his own personal issues, but it felt like, well, he didn't know how to intellectually give foreplay and there would be no climax!

At this point, what I want to impress on readers is - although the documentary was a clusterfuck, what Jeremy is putting into the public reveal of true and honest information is the most admirable thing. He is like the military - a hard worder for our own protection and to enlighten and empower us.

I continue to be a HUGE fan of Jeremy's work, but the documentary made his image and his work - weakened to the public.
