Mindspeak is a term often used relating to contact with aliens. It can actually cover a wide range of encounters including Bigfoot and Dogman. As a psychic, I would use that interchangeably with doing a read on someone. To a great majority of humanity, that is absolutely ridiculous, that is, until I demonstrate why it is the most natural thing in our universe.
There are two forms of mindspeak:
1. No words, just knowledge imparted, a knowing.
2. Actual words in your head, narration.
The first one - knowledge imparted is a sort of zip file activated in your mind. This information is up to your interpretation, but it is often compared to simply knowing.
For alien contactees, this zip file can release itself for interpretation and review over time, perhaps a few hours, maybe a few days. Somehow, you simply know what the other guy knows and that is very much the same as what a psychic experiences doing a read.
For the average person, this would be called intuition, a simply knowing. You get a "gut" feeling about a situation or a person and you instinctively react. We experience intuition throughout the day, sometimes in the form of deja vu, other times in premonition, and a lot of the time simply evaluating a situation and weighing future outcomes.
So, we can say that absolutely every person uses this form of mindspeak daily. We couldn't get through our lives and decision making without intuition, or "simply knowing."
The second one - actual words in your head is your consciousness. You know, that ongoing narrator dialoguing in words in your head by a voice that is internal and never had sine waves and auditory interpretation. You see it portrayed in comics as a "think bubble."
A great example of this was in the movie "Duel," where the main character, being terrorized by a trucker, has an inner dialogue, battling what to do and why this person is doing it to him.
So, we absolutely use this form of mindspeak every waking moment. Have you ever asked yourself who that is in your head narrating? Battling? Kidding around? Appreciating and archiving moment in words? Passing bitter judgement?
Does it have a gender? A dialect? As this form of speach never utilized words spoken out loud, it is pure mindspeak in every way.
We exercise our minds with new information and mastering tasks, juggling talents, making decisions, but do we ever exercise our consciousness? To do so, we would first have to acknowledge the observer/narrator within and then challenge it.
Psychics may be some of the best at the first one - the intuition aspect of consciousness. And, those who have had cognitive-behavioral/rational-emotive training, have mastered the inner voice by questioning it and putting it on trial often.
The interesting thing to note about these therapies (above) is that they make you exercise your consciousness. We run on autopilot that developed over our lifetime from experiences we had (good and bad), traumas, habits, addictive crutches, and beliefs we have about our personal worth.
Utilizing these methods of questioning the assumptions and turning off autopilot and going manual is one of the most liberating skills we can have if we want to have logical emotions and decision-making.
I highly recommend the books, A Guide For Rational Living by Albert Ellis and Robert Harper or Feeling Good by David Burns. I wish more therapists would utilize these techniques to get people to question the "authority" mindspeaking within.
It amazes me when people question if psychic skills can exist. We all use them every day. We are hardwired for these skills.
(above) psychic testing at IONS online. I went by "autumnforest" and I had to guess where the dot woul show up in the square.
What's really interesting about the concept that our consciousness is what moves on in the afterlife, is that all our lives we are using to communicate with our maker. It is mindspeaking constantly.
We pray. That is often a silent practice directed in mindspeak to our maker. We intuitively make decisions based on core morals and feelings of guilt and responsibility. These are core mindspeak tasks.
And, if our consciousness does move on (as many near-death experiencers have shown us), then that pathway that we communicate with our maker, that part of us that transcends, the part referred to as our "soul" already has been utilizing the mindspeak all our 3-dimensional biologic lives.
In other words, the brain is an operating system for mortal life, but consciousness is the operating system for eternal life. And, the mindspeak is the ongoing dialogue before we are here, while we are here, and after we are here. Our internal narrator is both a witness and a coach, a companion and a mentor for it knows something greater than life on earth and it won't let you be alone.
Now, think on that! (or should I say "mindspeak")?
