Skinwalker Ranch: Traversable Laurentzian Wormholes

 


You gotta love Travis Taylor for his absolute devotion and worship of the concept of a traversible laurentzian wormhole. Let's delve into this idea -

More simply put, Lorentzian traversable wormholes would allow travel in both directions from one part of the universe to another part of that same universe very quickly or would allow travel from one universe to another.

Let's suppose you could survive the process of traveling through this "portal," for you only a second would pass, but for your friends at your home planet, thousands of years had gone by.

Einstein's theory of general relativity mathematically predicts the existence of wormholes, but none have been discovered to date. A negative mass wormhole might be spotted by the way its gravity affects light that passes by.



It is generally believed that it's not like the awesome tv show, "Sliders," because once you traverse it the wormhole would snap shut. 

Could a human survive such a transport even if the ship were perhaps made to handle such forces necessary to create a wormhole? 


"The jury is not in, so we just don't know," physicist Kip Thorne, one of the world's leading authorities on relativity, black holes and wormholes, told Space.com. "But there are very strong indications that wormholes that a human could travel through are forbidden by the laws of physics.:

If it were true that a wormhole would snap shut after you exit it, then wouldn't we have thousands of otherworldly folks wandering our planet? 

Well, what if their ships were designed to part matter and go anywhere? Perhaps the ocean or a mesa don't deter them as they are built to shove aside valence electrons and part matter to cut through anything. And, if they can do this, they could potentially cut their own wormholes in and out of this existence/world.

Let's envision the ship coming up to a "solid object" and freeing the valance electrons that hold atoms together to make "solid" objects. This could occur with a cloaked energy field around the ship. 

The ship would cut through the disengated floating atoms like a warm knife through butter, then, as the ship enters that space (the mesa), as the shield gets past the atoms, they reattach by electrons and appear solid. To us viewing it's so fast that we see only the reinstated solid form, the entire process happening very quickly. 

An example would be a field of dandelion seeds. 


If you were to run through it, the seeds would float apart and you would continue on completely untouched by their destructive process. 

In the legends of the Philadelphia Experiment, it seems that if they were able to release the electrons from the atoms and they were to reattach to create solid objects again, the man supposedly melded to the ship's metal would be an example of untimely reforming. 

If we aren't dealing with a wormhole (an impossible force necessary to bend space/time), I'd consider the possibility that a higher dimension can interact with us, much like we can touch a 2D photographic image of ourselves. Adding another plane to the playing field in a higher dimension would mean we would see movements that seem to defy what we now of traversing our 3D world. And, it would also mean that we would only see the 3D aspects that we perceive in our world, much as if a photographic image could think and a person in the third dimension touched it, it would only see the things possible in its 2 dimensions.

Now, if we could invent a video camera that could detect a higher dimension, now we'd really see what's going on that we cannot see right now. Like that 2D photo, it wouldn't realize it's hanging on a wall and people are walking around it as that sense of depth is not in its awareness. 

Either way we play this, wormhole or higher dimensional interaction, this shit is getting really sexy.
