This is a new series revealing a photo and allowing the readers to debunk it or support it.
Today's photo was taken on a ghost hunt at a haunted battlefield at night. The owners of the photos saw a glittery thing in the center of the top picture. It's vital to always zoom in on these things and consider the context in which they were taken--damp night outdoors and some bushes. When zoomed in, you get what looks like a little fairy. Could this be something paranormal or might it be something explainable?
Maybe a ghost spider? :-D

ReplyDeleteIt's not a spider there what looks like 6 legs but has bug wings I don't think its paranormal or Elemental I would look at a flying bug of some sort.
ReplyDeleteWould help if I know where the photo was taken, but what a catch nice.
But I like this blog and will follow it, perhaps you can have a look at mine, not as paranormal as yours but I have my days :-)

This was taken in Virginia at a battlefield. More than likely what we're seeing is a spider (night activity) in a damp bush going in for the kill on a bug. When we keep it within context--it's floating over a bush--and the obvious spider-like shape, it's Occam's razor at work. "The simpler explanation is the most likely." In the medical field we have phrase, "if you see hoofprints, think horses not zebras." It's totally true in the ghost hunting world too.
ReplyDeleteand now i feel like i have spiders crawling all over me...the second picture looks really cool though...
ReplyDeleteYeah, that pic really looked like a fairy.
ReplyDeleteI went to a paranormal convention once where a person had an entire booth of photos like this very one, which the individual labeled as "faeries". It's not a fairy or a spider, from my own experience. It's a lot more simple: a mosquito. The way mosquitoes fly, with their back legs drooping down, they appear human-like when illuminated by a flash. If you need to test it yourself, go to the nearest body of still water on a warm night and start snapping pictures.
ReplyDeleteVery good, Ken. Yes, summertime, moisture, nighttime, bushes--sounds like a bug.
DeleteI'm amazed with your photography. Great work done by you.
