Upcoming Horror Movies For 2018

I'm glad to see that horror and thriller movies are strong as ever, I only hope to see more originality. On that note, the feature film I am working on with a team, based on my premise, is going to be a psychological thriller. I will be giving lots of teasing attention to it on the blog as the pre-production goes into production. In the mean time, let's look at what's officially slated for 2018 -

A Quiet Place (2018)
Directed by John Krasinski ("The Office") A family live an isolated existence in utter silence, for fear of an unknown threat that follows and attacks at any sound.

Halloween
They are back, including Jamie Lee Curtis! They will pick up where #2 left off and pretend all the other renditions never occurred. Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.  (Oct 19, 2018)

Winchester: The House That Ghosts Built
Eccentric firearm heiress believes she is haunted by the souls of people killed by the Winchester repeating rifle. Starring Helen Mirren

Cloverfield: The God Particle
After a scientific experiment aboard the space station involving a particle accelerator has unexpected results, the astronauts find themselves isolated. Following their horrible discovery, the space station crew must fight for survival.

The Meg

After escaping an attack by what he claims was by a 70-foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible. (August 10)

The Predator
A sequel to the 1987 sci-fi film "Predator" (August 3)

The Strangers: Prey At Night
A family staying in a secluded mobile home park for the night are visited by three masked psychopaths, to test their every limit. (March 9)

Slenderman
A movie about the horrifying myth. (February 2)

The First Omen
A prequel to the 1976 classic The Omen that shows what happened before Damien was born.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
The fifth installment of the Jurassic Park series which picks up moments after Jurassic World. (June 22)

Some remakes are in the making (always - sigh) A Little Shop of Horrors, Pumpkinhead, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Grudge, The Wolf Man.
