I've talked about places like Kickstarter and Indiegogo here. They make it possible for groups or artists or whoever is undertaking an endeavor the chance to get funding from the public. It's a fun way to contribute to research, industry, art, film, and other projects and also get a little something out of it. Each level of contribution offers you different rewards. In fact, my favorite movie I've seen in many many years, "Letters From the Big Man" was funded through this by the public.
The one I'm going to tell you about now is one I've been following on Facebook, a group calling itself Genesis Quest. They are very much into learning the secrets of ancient clues of potential alien involvement in our world or mysteries that have yet to be solved. They are working on funding a project to perform DNA testing on the Peruvian elongated skulls.
Follow them on Facebook and check out their IndieGoGo project. You might just want to contribute. I find what they're doing and what they're talking about, endlessly fascinating. They are curious folks like I am and full of theories like I am. No wonder I feel such a kinship. The mysteries of the world are only just beginning to be tapped thanks to smart forward-thinking folks like these.
