My Halloween Card to Y'all!

Here is the card I sent out this year to my friends for Halloween. I got it at Pumpkinrot's site. I always get them there.

I put the cards inside a ziploc freezer bag with several cottonballs dowsed with my favorite autumn perfume that I wear every fall. CB I Hate Perfume is where I get all my scents. I've never seen anything like it. They make the most amazing and unusual mixes for people who are sentimental about their scents from the smell of grandpa's smoking pipe in an old library to wet mittens and fresh snow. This fragrance for fall that I use that is how I smell all autumn long is called "403 M3 November" pumpkin pie, fallen leaves, bonfire, woodsmoke, dried grass, fallen apples, wet branches, damp moss, chanterelle mushrooms, and pine forest. I let the damp cottonballs sit in the bag with the cards for a week so they can really absorb it.

Inside the blank cards I wrote this quote from the book "The Haunting of Hill House" by Shirley Jackson (my favorite horror novel of all time).

"I am like a small creature swallowed whole by a monster," she thought, " and the monster feels my tiny movements inside."

Consider this my Halloween card to you all. May the season give you at least a few chills and thrills. Okay, it's time for hot cider and some really good horror movies by candlelight now.
