My first Flip Cam Film

Well, I got my Flip cam and it's just soooooo wonderful. I picked it up, never read the instructions, and got it going right away. There's hardly any buttons or things to deal with. It just guides you the entire way. I took it outside, filmed three scenes, put them on the computer (the camera hooks right into your computer like a jump drive and has software onboard). I didn't need any help--it made perfect sense. It asks you what you want to do with stuff and it does it all for you. It's amazing. Got it up on YouTube no problem-it has a button to go ahead and upload it to whatever site you want. I love this thing. Can't wait to use it next Tuesday on my getaway to the mining towns with my ghost hunting buddies. I would have filmed more of the yard, but the grass is nearly knee deep. I need to mow, but it keeps raining. Enjoy!

  1. Don't you just love your Flip camera? I have an off brand camera but it works in the same way and is just as little. Nice getting a tour of your backyard.

  3. Wow, nice backyard. Really serene. This flip cam really does the place justice over the photos. Can't wait to see your desert trip next week.

  4. Yeah, I hope I can manage to capture the cool landscape of the drive and the barren town. It's really a part of the gritty desert I love--the ghost towns.

  6. Hey Wyndymoon;
    Flip Cam is made by Pure Digital. I looked around and found this amazing one for 119.99 (most places it was 159.99) I always buy on Newegg. Best site for electronics!

  7. OH BOY! You got a FLIP???!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want one of those so bad. But now that I actually know someone who has one...does it have night vision? (BTW, your garden is SOOOO cool. I agree with Grim. The pics were one thing, but to actually kind of be there this way? So much cooler!)

  8. Hey Court;
    No nightvision, but I'm cool with that. I was really hoping to use it on road trips and going to cool desert and abandoned places and filming and sharing what it's like to meander in the abandoned desert. It'll be a blast for the trip next week. It'll be 80 degrees and clear blue skies so the contrasts should be awesome. I was pleased. It's soooo freaking easy to use, I never read any instructions. I'm dumbfounded. Why can't they make DVD players and other stuff? I can't say how pleased I am with it. It has buttons to download it to Facebook or YouTube or wherever. Very neat. You can also do still shots from movie film.
