Hauntingly Creepy Sculpture--Chillingly Beautiful

This is one of my favorite art installations of all time. It's in Grenada and it's an underwater sculpture garden. Human figures are set up and the sea life was left to grow upon them and make them into something alive and different. I think it's the most beautiful and hauntingly creepy thing in the world!

  1. Wow, how beautiful and like you said creepy. There is an eerie feeling seeing human figures standing on the bottom of the ocean. I didn't know of this, so thanks for sharing.

  2. I'm not a scuba diver, but it certainly makes me want to try it--I can't imagine how silent and creepy that is!

  3. how wonderfully haunting...I wonder if people thousands of years from now (if there is anybody) will find these and ponder what they were for--much as we contemplate Stonehenge and Avebury...

  4. Pam;
    I was thinking something really similar. I was wondering if they'd think it had something to do with our gods.

  6. Chilling. Great find. And I'm with you...for this I might like to learn to scuba. Wonder if you can snorkel there and still see a lot? Very cool.
