Creepier Aspects of the Road Trip

I find some interesting things on road trips. Admittedly, I'm not the type looking for the landmarks or the popular spots. I'm off the beaten path looking for the unusual and absurd. The road trip us ghost hunting gals did this week included some strange finds. I like this one with the rusted saw stuck in a stump in the yard. Says so much. The faces worn off the two headstones pictures was a tragic loss and ended up appearing like something out of a movie like "The Ring." And, you know me, I always find the clowns and dolls. Hope I unsettled you enough for one post. Off to look for more peculiar things...

    I gotta admit, I stared at it a while, thinking it would turn its head up and stare at me with creepy icy blue eyes that look lifeless. Now, that would have made my whole day!

  3. Very scary. The clown made my son run out of the room crying. I almost joined him.

  4. It is a shame someone has defaced a tombstone like that. I have seen these in our cemetery and they are usually soldiers.

    It was quite impressive up close--it was as tall as I am.

    Gail;
    I agree. I always pick up trash and upright fallen flower vases and such. It's so disturbing that people would pick on anyone who can't defend themselves, even the dead.

  6. I can NOT believe you didn't buy that creepy *ss hinged jaw doll to take home and cuddle with your other creepy *ss hinged mouth minion of satan doll....

    You have posted a couple times where I had to just leave from the willys and couldn't read or type...cause your little friend was featured in your post photo....

    How, I ask HOW do you sleep with that thing in your house?

    So, how much did they want for Dr. Demento?

    You always give me belly laughs! When you write, I feel like you're right here talking to me. I sure hope you're writing your memoirs--they'll be my favorite read! The shop was locked up--bummer, huh? The town is so empty, they only open up on the weekends. I would have checked on that little cutie to see what he was going for. The huge clown doll--very very cool. It was extremely unsettling. I think it was even just a tad taller than me which makes it disturbing to be human sized. And, are you saying you don't like my sweet little Dale doll? As I write this, he's looking right at me and I'm sticking my tongue out at him.
