The little girls telling Danny to come play with them, Jack talking to the bartender who wasn't there, Wendy finding Jack's "all work and no play" typed pages...Pamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06173008991368815747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-10858796482682700642009-05-22T08:36:59.242-07:002009-05-22T08:36:59.242-07:00Definitely some good scenes... Poltergeist was to me a bit of a drag when it got to the sappy stuff, but the humor was amazing like when she told him to open his mind when she was about to show him how the chair moved across the room. I also loved that they hit on some real terrors like things floating, being sucked into a closet, a doll and a tree attacking, a swimming pool with skeletons...Yikes--they hit them all. I can see where that scene with the ghosts on film was unsettling. It gave me a moment of deja vu about the place I grew up in. I used to imagine the soldiers tromping up and down the stairs and sometimes I'd be afraid to look up or down, thinking I might see something.Sharon Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13609356325356264202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-48340145588349623282009-05-20T10:55:20.926-07:002009-05-20T10:55:20.926-07:00Some of the scenes from Children of the Corn were ...Some of the scenes from Children of the Corn were among the creepiest for me, but I think it was because of the actor who played Issac. That fellow alone gave me the crawls.

In Poltergeist I always got uncomfortable around the time the investigators and the family viewed the ghosts walking down the staircase on video. It reminded me so much of my father's house, when I was sure there was someone behind me or passing me on the stairs or in the living room. I kept thinking of those vague outlines of people with their bright souls shining through their chests.Celynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03434168982956403379noreply@blogger.com
