It's totally an internal dialogue the whole time you're there. My friends and I could sit at a vortex for hours and watch the sunset from the red rock cropping and no idle chatter like we do normally. It's like communal meditation.

Julie;
My in-laws built a house up there and we spent a lot of time up there with them, but they had small children who grew bored. It's definitely not a place for kids so much. It's changed a lot since I moved here. I remember when it only had one gas station and nothing much else but the red rock chapel. If anyone plans to go up there, let me know. I can give you some advice on places and things to to do. They have a couple wicked cemeteries too. :-)Sharon Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13609356325356264202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-46122933474538129132009-06-24T18:02:26.943-07:002009-06-24T18:02:26.943-07:00As you know, I love it in Sedona. You pointed out interesting information I didn't in my blog of Sedona, so I'm glad you wrote about it. Like you said, if you haven't visited there, you should.
JulieJulie Fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10460274888229792456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-33225278509784308542009-06-24T17:16:57.695-07:002009-06-24T17:16:57.695-07:00I really need to check that place out. Not only is it mysterious and spiritual, but it's also in Arizona, which is where I was born and is my favorite place in the world.Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14753643567288934169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-91454907938335243202009-06-24T15:49:18.516-07:002009-06-24T15:49:18.516-07:00Sandra;

You have to gasp when you first start driving into the red rock monoliths and then the things to do there are so neat--and all the energy. I wish everyone could do it at least once to have a point of reference.Sharon Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13609356325356264202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-55140812928184904682009-06-24T14:59:28.277-07:002009-06-24T14:59:28.277-07:00I would love to visit Sedona and check out these s...I would love to visit Sedona and check out these spots. I heard that the stones at Avery in England have that power and some believe Stonehenge is atop of a meeting of vortexes. Strangely, there's few reports of hauntings in Sedona. Like much of the west, people report hauntings associated with the land--perhaps Native American influence? Canyons, valleys, washes usually have sightings. I would like an opportunity to ghost hunt at some of the Native American sites just to see if spirituality can be associated with hauntings. Oh, and I understand that Seattle has some folks who are plotting out the leylines for the entire city--quite a job, but they hope to put a park where leylines meet. I think I'll be writing about that next.Sharon Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13609356325356264202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-14109321041059244552009-06-24T12:34:21.113-07:002009-06-24T12:34:21.113-07:00I wonder if perhaps the powers inherent in the lan...I wonder if perhaps the powers inherent in the landscape are similar to those at other vortex locations, such as the Bermuda Triangle. I further wonder if ghost hunting in the area would prove fruitful. It does indeed sound like a lovely place to visit.James Starlight, PhDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11857401686174881429noreply@blogger.com
