I wa...Thanks for posting these movies on your blog. I was just looking for something to work out to, LOL. Oddly, I find cheesey horror movies comforting, like an old shirt or something. I don't know if you've seen 'The House of the Devil' (2009), but it was made in 70s' style - long static shots, weird characters, low key situations that turn to fear on a dime - and really worked for that reason. I think in a way that some 60s' and 70s' horror films actually mirrored something of the real experience that those who see ghosts or worse perceive.
