They also light up when moved quickly or the angle of the device is changed. while they only run around $50, you are getting a cheaply made device that is comprised of probably $10 of cheap plastic. dont waste your money on these...the scenes you've seen in shows like Ghost Hunters is completely staged with RF waves. the whole blink once for yes and two for no has been debunked 100 times over. they are crap.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-90766693508338461312009-03-09T11:53:00.000-07:002009-03-09T11:53:00.000-07:00Devin;I hope you're getting stronger and better ev...Devin;
I hope you're getting stronger and better every day. I've always found that a sense of purpose helps people to be tenacious enough to overcome anything. Let me know if you ever need advice on doctors and such. I type up reports for all the Banner doc's here in The Valley and know a lot of their backgrounds and how to look up their education and complaints and such to be certain they're good doc's. I like your idea of checking through old photos. I've done that myself only to find that my mother, who was one of a huge family of women who were all intuitive, had a strange white haze in almost every photo of her. I wanted to check her childhood photos but their house burned down during the Depression era. I looked for pictures of her siblings and found the haze near a few of them, as well. As far as ghost hunting on a budget, there's a lot you can do. I have a sister who is a self-professed hippie redneck in the hills of West Virginia--refuses to use Internet or anything where the "government might trace" her, but she's had activity in her home. I told her to have a little ongoing conversation with the mischief maker in her kitchen. Sit at the table, have a cup of coffee, shoot the breeze. Tell "it" about her background and why she likes living there. She said the little booger started slamming the cabinet doors again and turning on the toaster in the morning at a more frequent rate. She then sat down and in her sassy wall told him to get bent. Well, he hasn't been back again for months. I don't know if she pissed it off or what. This site might be silly, but they do show you how to make your own divining rods: http://choosingprosperity.typepad.com/blog/2006/05/verifying_your_.html
I've been studying the intriguing concept of Feng Shui and hauntings. There's even a book called "Confessions of a Feng Shui for Ghost-Buster" by Anna Maria Prezio. Sometimes, a little cleaning, organizing, arranging, and ridding yourself of clutter and darkness in your home can make improvements on your health too. You can use the divining rods to find hot spots in the house. You can do this by repeatedly going around the entire house and marking on a map the places the rods crossed. Then, go back in a day or two, try it again. You'll find spots that always cross no matter what. I've done my own experiment of spending some time in those spots thinking about happy memories, smiling, feeling peaceful and good, a few minutes of meditation, and the spots no longer cross at all there. You can change the memory of a place and that's a good place to start on at-home ghost hunting with no cost. I might just do an article on something like that for folks. You always have the absolutely free ability to go on the Internet and read other ghost hunting groups findings, printing out a map of the US, marking where famous haunted sites are, looking for geological features. No one ever takes the time to do that, they're usually in the field, but at-homers could make a huge contribution to the field with something like this. They would be extremely valued. So, research is a good place to start. Hope that helps. Keep us posted on how you're doing. Everyone cares about your health and well being.Sharon Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13609356325356264202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-68235477289022504972009-03-08T19:38:00.000-07:002009-03-08T19:38:00.000-07:00Thanks for the great info autumnforest! My budget ...Thanks for the great info autumnforest! My budget is so tiny most of it would be way out of my league-I still find the info interesting anyway! I do have a 35 mm that takes excellent photos -the other day as I have been struggling with health issues -I decided to go through a huge box of old family photos I have here at my place to see if I could find anything unusual or out of place in them -as sometimes to me it seems not all of the out of place info hits like a ton of bricks-no luck yet-i still have more to go through and then there is a massive amount of old photos at mom and dads-all the way back to the 1910s I believe -sorry if I am off-topic or have missed posts-have been struggling with health and energy issues again and this makes me dense sometimes to say the least-best to you as always!Devinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08467101354793913827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-562032584293780619.post-71967066036026193342009-03-07T16:52:00.000-08:002009-03-07T16:52:00.000-08:00Thanks for the great ideas. We are still rookies but hope to add more to our ghost hunting equipment. Are the KII meters expensive? It would be cool to have one of those as well.
--Julie--Julie Fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10460274888229792456noreply@blogger.com
