Sunday Evening Movie: The People

Tonight's creepy movie is a 1972 film about a teacher going to teach at a very close-knit community where she finds out they are quite...unusual.

  1. Thanks for posting these movies on your blog. I was just looking for something to work out to, LOL. Oddly, I find cheesey horror movies comforting, like an old shirt or something. I don't know if you've seen 'The House of the Devil' (2009), but it was made in 70s' style - long static shots, weird characters, low key situations that turn to fear on a dime - and really worked for that reason. I think in a way that some 60s' and 70s' horror films actually mirrored something of the real experience that those who see ghosts or worse perceive. One minute you're standing there and the world is normal. The next minute it really isn't.

    1. I know. I'm hooked on the YouTube channel tvterrorland - it's all 70s made for tv horror. Awesome stuff.
